    People love to hate Devon but NO ONE (on earth, I’d wager) trains for, thinks about, cares about or loves arm wrestling like Devon does. His earned the legend status. He’s earned the #1 spot. Like or not, he’s doing more for the sport than anyone else and there isn’t a better representative out there. If anyone of the current pullers is going to push the sport into the mainstream, it’s Devon.

      @@Onewayticket-147 You’re only what? 9 months late? When I wrote that comment Devon hadn’t faced Levan and was officially East v West heavyweight champion, aka world #1.
      Genadi meanwhile hasn’t had a match in YEARS and Devon has beaten everyone BUT Levan. So until Genadi beats everyone Devon beat, he’s not even getting in the conversation, never mind being ranked above or even beside Devon.

    • @NicolaiAwesome
      @NicolaiAwesome 3 месяца назад

      @@Onewayticket-147Lol you’re irrelevant. Devon isn’t. And Levan - no matter how much you want to ride his 🍄‍🟫- hasn’t, can’t or won’t (whichever is true doesn’t matter, it’s a fact) do as much for the sport as Devon can and will.
      Levan and 90% or more of arm wrestlers are good at arm wrestling but garbage at promotion. Then we have 🍆’s like you who just want to shit on everything because you’re what? Jealous? Even your hero Levan recognises what Devon means for the sport (because he’s not stupid, unlike people who think Genadi is relevant today).

I think part of this is because arm wrestling is young and athletes are not as packaged as in other sport. They share information, both personal and professional, that you don’t see in other sports. I really enjoy this. The other part is just Devon. He’s confident and experienced, and he’s genuinely invested in sharing his knowledge to grow the sport. Thank you!

    Interesting interview. I think of this in terms of general competition. I find that people who have never competed at a high level are quick to call someone a cheater. I think they fail to realize that "cheating" isn't the right word. Their is moral cheating and immoral cheating. Inside the context of sport it's the athlete's job to find the boundaries of the rules and straddle them. Live right on the edge of what's acceptable. In American football for example: an offensive lineman who never comes close to a holding call is not going to be close to as good as he can be. If the same lineman get's six penalties in a game he's also not great. But the lineman who is always right on the edge of getting an infraction but avoids it is in the right place.
