Granted that individual motivation makes a lot of difference (eating is also a habit and a pleasure), I intermit fast (15-18 hours of fasting) and have also tried a 11-day water fasting which I stopped only out of boredom -- I could have gone on a few more days no problem. I see no difference in my performance when weight training after eating or at the end of a daily fasting. No difference in strenght and muscle growth too, and I've been training for about 30 years.
Fasting is the real deal, your body will do its thing and find energy when it needs to, we're not just living off of day to day food for energy.. your stomach does more things than digesting.

I believe when it comes to that extra thing that some gifted athletes have it’s part genetics and the rest is that mental edge, the true belief in yourself and drawing from whatever you need to mentally to give you that extra push you may need. I’ve said this before about the upcoming match with Devon and Michael that it will come down to that mental edge that I believe Devon has and that’s why I’ve said from the beginning that Devon is going to win. I watch both Devon and Michael on their channels and watch a lot of different things, subtleties, different little reactions to things and actions and from what I’ve observed I truly believe Devon will be taking that hammer home. I seriously like and subscribe to both individuals and hope when the match is over they can start working together and doing some collaborations together because as soon as the match is over your going to have a flood of people wanting their chance for who’s in line next. Not only that but both of you working separately have done wonders for the sport and each have done an incredible job promoting the sport, the match, as well as always taking the time to work with people and helping that next individual who has an interest in arm wrestling, I can only imagine what you guys could do together in promoting, putting on special events or whatever you guys come up with. Anyway thanks again for sharing and take care everyone and stay safe and healthy.

I tried it and it was doable, it's not a myth. The body will have no choice but to burn fat and the internal organ will shrink. I have pics of before and after as well. Eating high carbs/sugar will boost temporarily power for sure, but the long run, it will damage the body. Instead of just reading what others do, try it for yourself.
