So ,every 3 weeks I drove 150mls, (240kms), Friday to Tuesday. I came home one Tuesday to find a letter from Local Govt., to inform me a complaint of " Loud TV & hammering on the Fence". Consider?. This house was 2 doors away. So I phone and ask when the complaint was made.. From the date, on the letter it was made Saturday. . My response? "I must have F***ing long arms, I've been 150mls. away since Friday" This guy threatened to take out a "Contract" on me. I laughed. I got him evicted. He moved to France living out of a MPV. Then Brexit happened. ! Oh sweet revenge. Enjoy living in France without EU Protection
I would have found a way to record those tenants. Far more powerful evidence If you can hear the tone in their voices. Personally I wouldn't be able to a word for word transcription in my report.
the guards could be wearing body cams, keep the footage for 2 weeks unless it's linked to an incident (this would have to be written into the building contracts)
Bad neighbors story: The previous owner grassed over their own driveway? That makes no sense unless you're trying to create problems. Benefits story: Everyone else's fault except Karen's. Typical. Gotta love it when racists are caught in their own lies and they pay the price. Finding a new place to live with only 14 days notice? Priceless.
If I were nice tenants I’d have made those 14 days bad for bad neighbors. Do everything they lied about and nothing would be done. If police were called there’d be proof they’ve made false reports before
Yes most places have that rule that you can't start making noise from 7 am to 11 pm during the week and 9 am to 7 pm on weekends. I don't call people until after 9 am during the week and 10 am during the weekends
911 Calling Karen Story: I'm surprised Karen kept calling 911 so often...People that do that too many times REALLY Piss Off the Police that have to respond to them and tend to quickly start getting Improper Use of Emergency Services Tickets and if you get enough of those, I believe the Police can start Arresting you for Obstruction of Justice if you keep doing it despite being told to stop by Police... I know if I were a Cop and I kept getting called by Karen about things that are NOT Illegal, after the 3rd time, I'd be telling Karen to stop or SHE will be the one getting Ticketed for wasting Police Time and stopping us from responding to actual Emergencies...The 3rd time I gave her an Improper Use Ticket I'd warn her that the next one will result in yet another Ticket AND her Arrest for Obstruction for wasting Police Time...
Well even if what OP or the neighbors were doing was illegal Karen should have been fined for misuse of 911. Because even if say parking on the street was illegal. Police have non emergency numbers Karen could have called. While their parking was illegal it wasn't a true emergency as no one was in need of immediate help. While the cops are dealing with Karen's bs someone who truly needs Police help aren’t getting it. Karen should have been fined after the second and definitely the third.
I say after the 5th call I'd be calling my lawyer and getting a l send the cease and desist order and that didn't work a restraining order threat I'm surprised that the police wouldn't have start building a harassment charge after maybe the 10th time they were called out for the same residence for OP because that's just plain harassment and waste of police resources.

If they were willing and trying to ruin someone else's life by sending them to jail for however many years for something they knew for a fact they did not do, why shouldn't the punishment be that they go to jail for as long as they were trying to send the other person.

As to the second story lack of planning improper informing of address and phone number change is not an emergency on the agencies part. As to the last story an eviction is a problem for those jerks when looking for a new place to live. They are lucky if they don't face charges for harassment and false accusations or sued for that. They also could have hate crime added to it.
No. We're talking well-trained security with guns, and the training of the police. They usually have the right to use the gun and arrest people. They aren't wandering around with no weapon like Paul Blart.
