    Story 2: press charges and sue for the damages. That’s the only way a Karen will learn.

      The story has all the feel of a fake, AI generated tale. Assault on a minor (felony/crime), attacking a disabled person (felony/crime), attempted theft of something worth $10k (almost certainly a felony/crime) and attempted theft of a disabled appliance (felony/crime) just for starters, not even considering the associated charges for damaging and/or destruction of private property / disabled aid / etc. No. The idea that the woman was allowed to just leave and effectively got off scott free is not believable at all.

    Story 2: why didn't they sue the Karen for the price of repairs and emotional distress. They also should have pressed charges for assault and child abuse.

    • @SeanBZA
      @SeanBZA 6 месяцев назад +3

      Yes definitely press charges, easy enough with the guards and her info, and she will be forced to pay up, as medical devices are very expensive to buy or repair.

    • @melkiorwiseman5234
      @melkiorwiseman5234 6 месяцев назад

      If the story had really happened, they wouldn't even have had to press charges. Last I knew, attacking a minor child was a criminal/felony offence in and of itself, as is attacking a disabled person, attempted theft of a disabled aid, attempted theft of an object worth $10k, damaging a disabled aid... and that's just for starters. Sounds like yet another fake story to me. Possibly yet another AI generated fake since AIs don't know the difference between civil and criminal matters.

    Robotic arm story: The kid doesn't want to press charges on the evil bench "due to stress". So instead of her paying for the repairs (not to mention punitive damages), his family cons a bunch of strangers into paying. Good grief! What idiocy!!!

    • @jcorbett9620
      @jcorbett9620 6 месяцев назад

      The friend was a stupid bonehead. Instead of setting up a "Go Fund Me" page, he should have set up a "Sue The Bitches Ass Off" page and sent the bailiffs out to get the $2,000 for repairs, emotional distress and the inconvenience of not being able to use the arm whilst waiting for it to be repaired.
      It's the only way Karen bitches will learn that "no means LEAVE THE DAMN THING AND ME ALONE!!!"

      It would be idiocy, if it really happened, but the whole tale has the feel of a fake, and my strong suspicion is that it's an AI generated fake due to the many criminal/felony offences the woman would have been charged with if it was real.
      EDIT: Also, the description of how the artificial limb works doesn't tally up with what I know of how such devices work in real life, if controlled the way the story says that limb was controlled.

    Sandwich story: I've never had that problem at Subway. They are generally very good about making sandwiches EXACTLY how you ask for them to be made. This guy wasn't being clear.
    Robotic arm story: OP, your friend still should have taken EM's info to his parents. THEY should have pressed charges and/or sued her for what the repairs cost and then some.
    IDWHL story: Don't we all just hate rude, obnoxious people who can't actually be bothered to pay enough attention to determine if someone works somewhere?
    HOA story: While I hate to side with the HOA and the twit was definitely in the wrong for trespassing, OP brought this on himself by being lazy and not putting the stickers on his vehicle plates in a timely fashion. That would have avoided the entire mess (other than twit trespassing).

  • @jamiepatterson1214

    10k for that arm is sue material. The parents should have gone through a lawyer to have the woman pay to repair the arm. Plus, an additional sum for the pain she caused the kid and for being an a-hole.
    In the HOA story. If you are going to enforce rules, it might be a good idea not to break rules to enforce rules. The owner of those cars could have reported that person to the police as a potential car thief after seeing the videos they had.

    • @gerble36
      @gerble36 6 месяцев назад

      Why? Potential car thief would never stick with the evidence he had. And when the cops eventually find out you knew exactly what he was doing, you might even get a slower response next time you actually need the cops because they may label you a trouble making liar. If the goal is to not be harassed by the HOA, leaving them in fear is far more effective then firing shots directly at them. Because then they will fire back and you have a war on your hands vs a threat to escalate if they push when they don't want that war.

    • @melkiorwiseman5234
      @melkiorwiseman5234 6 месяцев назад +1

      It's more than sue material. It's very much felony/crime material. I counted at least four. Also the description of how the artificial limb was supposed to work doesn't seem to tally with how such limbs are supposed to work in real life under the conditions described in the story.

    Story 3 - I was once in an outdoorsy store waiting for my spouse, these lady comes up and says "here you go" and tries to dump a bunch of clothes in my arms. I look at her and asked he "Why would I want these, they're women's clothes?"....she says "well, you work here." I reply back "What about me says I work here?"
    On my days off I have a style described as - **homeless person dragged behind a bus for awhile**
    She looks at me like an overweight short cow in headlights and says "I dun know"
    I shove the clothes back at her and say "Maybe you should figure that the fuck out with a therapist" and she stomped off.
    The fitting rooms were behind the register counter so the employee there was shaking laughing...like not only did she completely miss the employee but came to me...and found another girl working there. Dumped all the crap in her arms and took off. I looked at them and said "I'm honestly surprised I was let in here looking like this"...we always go back there but never had another incident.

    My adopted brother has a prosthetic leg, when he first came to the states, Dad got him a new one, cause the old one was too small. He started Jr high later that year, and some kids seemed to think picking on him about hid leg would be fun. Unfortunately for them, he's quite used to that, so he didn't respond to it. At a football home game the schools chief bully decided it was a good time to kick the prosthetic leg, which caused my brother to fall. The mistake he made was doing so in front of me, and I kicked him in the shin with steel toed boots, he fell down too. His Dad who was near by started in threatening me for hurting his boy, but I smiled, and told him the cost of repairs on my brothers leg would be more hurtful. He grabbed the boy off the ground, and made him walk very fast out of the area. My brother looked at me and said, it takes a lot more to damage my leg than a simple kick. I told him, I know that, you know that, they don't know that, seems the story got around the school, and nobody picked on my brother after that.

"OK, what kind of bread/roll do you want? You ask for wheat, this is a wheat roll, right? OK, what kind of meat do you want? Turkey, ok, this is the turkey, right? And you wanted tomato, right? And this is the tomato, right? Lettuce ? Oil? So, let's review what you watched me put on you tomato, ok? So, here is your sandwich."

    So start a GoFundMe page so other people can pay for the repairs rather than the person who actually did it? And they didn't sue because of stress? It wouldn't have been him it would have been the parents suing so no I'm sorry this was a nice little fanfic and maybe yes the friend does have a robotic arm but this never happened because no parent who doesn't have insurance to pay for that would allow a 2000 repair just to go on the hope of a GoFundMe page.

    In the story with the prosthetic, if they had this woman's info why wouldn't they go after her to pay for the arm & maybe even extra for punitive damages rather than setting up a go fund me. It was great all those ppl helped out, but why should all those ppl have to spend money on something while the responsible party got away scott free. If she had been made to pay for the damages those ppl could've used their money to donate to some other worthy cause or put it away for a rainy day when they were struggling. I am really getting sick of hearing how Karen's do something stupid & potentially causing thousands in damages, but aren't made to suffer any of the consequences. I get OP & his friend were kids, but the parents should have stepped in & done something

    Story 2, First contact police as that was an assault on a minor, add in charge for criminal damage, then sue the pants off her, she will face jail time and loose a lot of money as you can also add onto the costs of repairs the emotional damage of being arm less whilst it was damaged and being repaired and last make sure the press get the story as her face being on the news and all the hate that would aim at her would teach her more than the fines and jail time....
