2 year old comment and SO FUCKING TRUE! This is my favorite horror film of all time and while I love Jason Miller coming back for the reshoots, gotta stick with Brad Dourif being the MVP of the film.
He was in the 1997 TV remake, playing the role Lee J. Cobb played in the original. Coincidentally Lee J. Cobb also played Lt. Kinderman in The Exorcist, the role Scott played in this movie.
And he had a small role in 1993 movie Malice w Alec Baldwin and Nicole Kidman. I forget the overall storyline but he played the chief doctor in a hospital and he didn’t give a big higher up job to Alec Baldwin because his character had a “ god complex”.. a movie w another great Baldwin speech. Google “ malice or Alec Baldwin/ god complex.”👍👍👍
Jason is more creepy, brad is more psychopathic. That’s what I like about the the two and plus it’s like the Gemini is coming out revealing himself when brad comes into the scene
@@betonowykrzak3095 how so? The Gemini Killer being the only spirit inside of Karras, placed in there by Pazuzu. Pazuzu is the gemini's ONLY Master, & the only demon behind this. Pazuzu also represents himself as the Devil himself, seen in the Exorcist I.
Now, I want you to remember that no exorcist ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb ghost die for his country.
Such a good movie. So underrated. There was an homage to this scene in the new Jeffrey Dahmer series on Netflix. It's when Jeffrey Dahmer is a screaming at his grandmother for throwing out the mannequin. This movie was Jeffrey dahmer's favourite and apparently he showed it to his victims before he went to work on them
@@molasorrosalom4846 He wasn't "breaking through." They're showing the viewer what he looks like (Brad Dourif), as opposed to the body he possesses (Jason Miller). Kinderman still sees Karras (Miller).
This movie is criminally underrated. Dourif and Miller gave The Gemini Killer what Hopkins gave Lector.

Jason Miller is simply an amazing talent
Wish this film was renamed to Legion. The Exorcist III tainted it from the very beginning
@Nathaniel Ruff Nah... I like the more minimalist style of just calling it Legion tbh.
Still better than the original script title they wanted to call it "Exorcist 1990"
Could watch this part over and over for the length of the whole movie, and I'd still be satisfied.
Every single second Brad Dourif is on screen it's compelling
@@planetofthegapes Compelling and unpredictable. The Dourif special!
such an underrated thriller.
its a horror not thriller
It's a mix of horror, thriller, supernatural, and psycholoogical genres.
I didn't even know George C. Scott was alive in 1990. God rest his soul....seriously a great actor.
Sadly, He passed away in either ‘98 or ‘99 if I’m not mistaken. The man played a hell of a General Patton
Absolutely. He was the best. Was he also in "12 Angry Men"? Or am I thinking of someone else?

The nurse walking out of the room. Easily the scariest 1 scene in the history of the cinema
Check out pysco 2 the shovel scene at end of movie
Saw it opening weekend...HATED IT!!!
Saw it again...10 years later...LOVED IT!!!!
"Oooh, a few boos from the gallery, I see."
LOLOLOL... GOOD one, very nicely done ! And are those SeaBass running in season just yet ?

If you looked with the eyes of faith.....you'd see me.
Three of the best performances in the entire genre
Wow, that's such a great scene.
Holy smokes. This is easily one of the scariest scenes I've ever seen in film.
New 2k scan looks amazing.
"ROOOOAAAASRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!.... I do that rather well don't you think?.."
Yes
“You must get them to do that, lieutenant. It’s important.”
“The *Gemini* is dead!”
“NO I AM NOT, I’M ALIVE!”
What a great back and forth.
One of the best books , films , because the exorcist was such a success, this doesn’t get the credit it deserves
"There is only one."
Doesn't he say "very lonely one"?
It also fits the context I think

@@buer_reub Oh boy I did not think you would respond that quickly :D
Thanks to you I understand my mistake. Thank you very much

That actually made less than zero sense. But I'll give you points for trying to tie exorcist and patton lol
Feels weird not to hear the guitar riff and drums after the scream
I hope Scott and Dourif won awards for this, don't know what was poppin' in '90, but this should have scored countless little statues!!!!!
Brad got a Saturn award nomination for Best supporting actor
If you looked with the eyes of faith...you'd see me
He said LOOK AT ME !! In 3 times and that’s scary
Chucky's voice 😂
A neglected masterpiece.
You bet it is.
I love this movie
The Shining, The Thing, this film, bladerunner, even Shawshank Redemption were all flops at the cinema and today...
NO I AM NOT!!
Brad Dourif is the G.O.A.T.
He doesn't seem afraid of the suffering on the other side
watch him in "Deadwood", another amazing performance.

Have you ever got so pissed off with someone that you turned into Brad Dourif?
Hereditary’s inspiration came from this movie
No hereditary was cleary inspired borderline ripped off Rosemary's baby
who's here because of Dahmer?
I don't necessarly like "GodlessWood" excuse me , Hollywood actors but George C Scott was a amazing in this movie.
We say “Ped0wood” or “Hollyweird.”
There is only one.
Superb
Creppy as fuck
scary. movie. this. guy. sounds evil. gives. me. the. chills.
Why he roar like tynarosaurs
Those were the demons possessing him.

where's the UK release!?
Where i can find the bluray 🤔🤔🤔
He needs some temper work
I like this better than the exorcist, i like the exorcist is overrated that the first
The first time I watched this movie, I was confused why they changed the Actor in the straight-jacket.
I was as well, but seeing it again I understood that it was the Gemini Killer's personality breaking through.

Originally Miller wasn't even in the film from what I understand.
We're those two different actors
fuck i do not know why but...his voice reminds me of springtraps voice in fnaf 6.
Cryptopsy... Crown Of Thorns
Is there another movie where two actors play the same person like this?
Fight Club, the 70s Hulk TV series and, if you believe the theory, Ferris Bueller (Ferris and his friend Cameron)
Nunavut!
That obscure object of desire, love and mercy, pretty much any movie where the character flashes back to when they were a kid

Does this collector's edition have the theatrical cut or the director's cut?
Tyler Tylerson both I believe
@@_Tovar_ To an extent. It has the theatrical cut and an assembly cut that's close to what Blatty wanted "Legion" to be.
@@AngelofMusic04 Honestly Blatty's ending was pretty anticlimatic once you see it. It worked a lot better in the book.
