Tim Curry was also considered for the Joker in Batman 1989. I consider all contenders wonderful choices, but I can't imagine any other actor playing that Joker so amazingly as Jack Nicholson did. 17/06/23
In the deleted soundtrack of the original Exorcist movie there's a greek psalm sung by a choir boy, one that the demon imitates in the book during the exorcism. He sings it while Karras and Merrin have a break outside pondering over why Reagan was ever possessed. I think the hymn the Gemini Killer sings is a reference to that.

@@Kewy-fe6ljso you want them to just make The Exorcist 1 again except more pointless and repetitive, say what you want about Exorcist 3 but it brought back familiar things from the first movie and added to its story while also offering something unique of its own. Which I think is how most sequels should be.
