Because they play as him, he can do no wrong, because they then see themselves as wrong. Should Kratos be above critisizm, i think the devs were trying to make people actually thnk about what Kratos has done, instead of endlessly seeing him as correct because you yourself are him. But it doesn't seem to be working with anyone sadly.
@@AlexisTheDragon People know the monster Kratos was in the Greek games and that as much as he was justified in hating the Olympians it didn't excuse him killing innocents and destroying Greece on his way to them. So I don't know where you're getting the idea that people think he's a saint because they play as him. A big part of the Norse games has been him living with the guilt and trying to redeem himself.

This playthrough never fails to remind me why I love your GOW series, it always brings me joy watching your understand and empathize with the characters! Also did you notice that when you head to the Three Judges in Niflhiem the music changes and becomes a little more similar to the OG games

Ah the return of pots and pans and triangle triangle triangle, or in this case R2 R2 R2 lol I literally teared up seeing the Blade of Olympus again and the music that played, it sounded like a mix of Vengeful Spartan from the Greek saga and the main God of War theme from God of War 2018 and Ragnarok. I think this first flashback with Helios was from God of War 1 in the Temple of Pandora where you have to sacrifice an Athenian soldier to progress. And then it turning into it being Mimir was terrifying. I love this so far.
I can't wait to play GOWRV next month. Used up too much of my HotSpot and didn’t have enough for the DLC which I thank to god is the size it is. ^^ Have been watching people play GOWRV. Interesting to see people's reactions. So it looks like Valhalla has 2 separate punishments. One punishment for those who can be there but force/breach their way in. Left weakened and will eventually be defeated by enemies wirh no hope of beating. The other pushimenent is for those who aren't allowed in at all yet force/breach their way in. It looks like a body part will be set on fire. For Sigrun it was her wings.
could we see other old weapons in future DLC like this, the Nemean claws in another arena story, or The Claws of Hades in a more in depth exploration of the Norse Underworld

I'm nearly done watching the video. I have to say it's very nice to see someone who really knows the history of the games playing this. I am looking forward to more. You're awesome.
I think you should focus on the story and not the difficulty, because this dlc focuses more with it's story and not it's gameplay, because the gameplay was so familiar, so I suggest you do the lowest difficulty and just enjoy the story.
