What a delightful looking exercise. I am already thinking about what scraps to pull. Should I use a scrap as the base? What about painting the first couple of layers. Watercolor, then Japanese watercolor, then gouache, followed by an ever thickening ever more opaque medium until all have been laid down. Wheeeee … your video has already launched into several ideas. Muchas Gracias!

I think that's a great idea! Just take the same concept and apply it to paint! Actually, this idea stems from my studies as a painter back in college. We were usually taught to paint "lean to fat" (thin first, then gradually thicker), with thin paint as the background and thick paint as the foreground. Hope you have fun!!

I use Mod Podge, and the surface I'm collaging on is mat board.
