I love how you swear in this video. You described perfectly the process of “U” which we all experience no matter what level we’re at in our creative journey. Love the final piece!
Hi Dani It’s me again , Lorraine. Wow! What an exciting journey you had with your fiber arts piece. I hear you. I liked your using the u shape in describing the ride you took in this creation. You stuck with it through the hard part really feeling your way along in the dark. I made a saguaro at sunset in 1978 pieced and quilted.. it is 31x44 inches, truly a labor of love. I used to have a calico cat like Dahlia who had the sweetest disposition and the most precious mew. As you have guessed by now I’m binge watching your channel. So fun and interesting, Thank you for putting your creativity out there,
Its beautiful. Genius idea to cut it in strips. It seemed to unify the colors znd patterns. It was especially gorgeous hanging on your wall at home in the sunlight and shadows. Surface design added just the right amount of interest. I can really relate to the "U" factor...it happens every time we create, right?❤
Thank you so much for your kind words and acknowledging the elements of design! I appreciate it ❤️ And yes, the U almost always happens - I have a new piece right now that's going through the same process haha
