I had the machete, a jet that turned into a base of sorts and the grenade. I broke the little vehicle that came with the grenade right out of the box because I didn't understand how to put the wheels on. For years I felt stupid because I did that, until I learned years later that smaller companies like Galoob really made things cheaply and it really wasn't my fault. Wish I knew about the ribbons/vehicles. Now that I think about it, I think I had the green pocket knife too.
Esta linea sí se vendió en México, aunque no llegaron todos los sets , eran geniales , conservo una medalla (con todo y soldado) que no apareció en el vídeo es una clase de vehículo para pantanos ; no tenía idea que no son fáciles de conseguir . ¡ Buen video Junkman !
These were pretty cool. I prefer the scale of joes and think something could get lost easily. You're funny junkman, whistling like Andy Grffith is coming on 😂😂😂
"Junkman charred and poppin', though!" :) haha These are really cool and I really like the mini figurines come with them. This is something that I would've been interested in as a kid, I love miniatures. Very cool. :) Thanks for the report Back to you, Steve!
That ending was funny!!!! But those toys looked awesome. Closest thing I had to that would have been one of the Micro Machine sets that was a Military themed one with a small tank!!!!
@ThatJunkman Exactly that! I said Bob Barker but envisioned that one. Who cares if it's functional, just glue a marble on the end of a dowel rod, paint it silver and whammo! Welcome to the big time baby!
@tperson8347 851... I'm surprised I never saw anybody throw hands when the next bidder just erased the previous with the little 'one dollar more' trick. That washer & dryer set & turtle wax was as good as mine! I'll see him in the parking lot.
@@shanester1832 :) haha Definitely, I love those microphones. I love the long ass cord on it, too. I half anticipated someone getting run over by the spinning wheel. :) By the way, I'm going to need some Turtle Wax on my new washer :)
Ok, after seeing the the commercial, I do now remember these things.
Yessssss we used to have so much cool army stuff
I loved those sets growing up
R.I.P., Junkman!
I didn’t know they did a junkman dlc for battlefield
These look pretty cool. You definitely wouldn’t see commercials for stuff like this today.
Creative ending 👍👍
Forgotten but not gone

I had the Grenade and the M-16. I remember them being pretty fragile.
Don't remember these, but I was out of toys by then.

I wanted this but dad took me to the Army surplus store instead 😂

I had a whole collection of Army gear toys. I got the M-16 for something big. I think I had everything but the pistol and the walkie-talkie
I do I was pretending to be grown up then

Nope never had this, but I did have Micro Machines.
"Take a look at this army gear, I won't grow up to be a..."

Back to you, Steve!
You saw a battleship dropping bombs? Was it the Space Battleship Yamato?
I had the submarine and a few others
I knew a kid who was really into Army Gear as well as the GUTS line. They were alright, but not really my interest.
That ending was funny!!!! But those toys looked awesome. Closest thing I had to that would have been one of the Micro Machine sets that was a Military themed one with a small tank!!!!
I need to see you with a Bob Barker style microphone.
More like that dude from match game

"Alright, Tony, what do you bid?"
"850, Bob."

I remember these commercials. I liked the commercials and wanted to toys, but I never got any. Awesome video, Junkman!
These are neat. Released in 1988 you say. I missed out on these, as 1988 was the year I joined the Army and used this stuff for real.
my 'toy era ' ended a few years before but if this was out then , I would have played with it !
Tim Walz used these in "combat"
I had most of these sets but they got thrown away in a move, they were so awesome!
I had the pistol, flashlight and M-16.
Esto es a lo que llamo un verdadero juguete de Guerra. Excelente
those are pretty cool toys. unfortunately i was a kid of the 70s
I have the light n the m16.
Hey stop shiting on Joes
I was twelve and really wanted these.
