This man died of a drug overdose or heart attack from said drugs and physically fighting police officers for a theft of less than 50 bucks. How ignorant this world has become... not to mention when watching the video the officers knee was on this man's shoulder not his neck.
Yep! You are so correct, sir!
26:00 oh my God, did she actually try to say that George Floyd was "small and frail"? Did I hear her say that? George Floyd was 6'4" tall and weighed in at 225 pounds. A "gentle giant" like him would _never_ resist arrest, nahhhh!

💯 clearly pushing an agenda and got caught...
that is damn good advice i can attest too. your feelings don't matter when someone is trying to pin you. It's all a ploy to get their point across
Of course there is an underlying agenda, but meaningful change in how police engage the public is going to require it. The question is, do you believe police officers should be subject to the equal rights provision of the 14th amendment? If a citizen had done this he'd be viciously attacked in the media and certainly convicted. This judge is behaving differently because the accused is a cop.
It's all stepped in opinion and the interpretation of the witnesses, officers and others observation.
@Mick Jagger No sir, police officers are not allowed any leniency or extra rights, read the 14th amendment. If a cop can't do his job without criminally assaulting citizens he needs to find another line of work.
ALL PERSONS are subject to the same laws. Most reasonably intelligent persons believe police officers should be held to a higher standard of lawful and moral behavior , not a lower one.
She seems like she’s a very difficult person to deal with and one that is never wrong (in her own mind).

Nah he's grasping at straws, trying desperately to bait het into letting him mis-characterize her testimony or manipulate context to his favor. This lawyer is clearly all about the win, Spirit of the law be damned. I get it though. The only way to save Chauvin is to manipulate the facts to misrepresent the events leading to George Floyd's death.
@@breakdancinfool you do know that is his job right? He has to defend his client to the best of his abilities. His entire job is to defend chauvin. if it’s so open and shut, then the prosecution should have a slam dunk. With this witness, I’d say that are far from that.

@Freedom Of Choice Judges telling witnesses not to argue or volunteer information is not uncommon in court. He is absolutely right that the state has redirect for that. Sadly your comment provides an all too common example of why allegations of racism cannot be taken seriously in 2021: they are made upon the slightest disagreement with a person's actions to the point of such absurdity that it doesn't even matter if those actions are not even taken against someone of a different race.

Great point! It must speak to the shortage and perhaps even r/t the lock downs and terminations over vax mandates… altho i cant recall exactly the time frame for that event w the GF event… I remember a friend at my hospital who was a transporter then went for her EMT and was told city wide she would not be hired w/o 1 yr experience… she moved to a larger city to get her 1st job. That was early 2000s.
I DONT condone her actions, but as a human being and fellow FIREFIGHTER 👩🚒 we are very empathetic persons who are willing to die for a stranger to live.. I can understand the frustration.
Bottom line, she saw someone murdered 1 foot away and was helpless. As a firefighter I would’ve probably tackled the officer myself and went to jail to save his life.

@The Judge and you’re not biased? Ok 👍 gotcha.
@The Judge well she shouldn’t be in emergency services if she can’t handle a few questions, she clearly hasn’t been on any terribly serious calls, she would’ve snapped like a twig. This woman is a disgrace. She doesn’t respect the judge, the lawyers, the court…but absolutely wanted Chauvin convicted. She comes across as she is better than the cops, more righteous. She did not phone an ambulance or check if one had been sent for because she was too busy filming. I wouldn’t trust her with my life.
I think it was Mark Twain who said " there are times it's better to remain silent and appear foolish than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". Seems she should heed that statement

As an attorney, this is one of the most difficult witnesses to deal with. A witness with an agenda will always volunteer extra information and won't simply answer the question asked.

A lawyer with an agenda will ask questions the same.
@@hackernews5280 the point of lawyers is to openly have an agenda. It's called an "adversarial system" for a reason.
@@control-wi9xr Not all answers are equal. The reason the answer must be limited to the substance of the question is to keep out inadmissible evidence. The last thing anyone in that courtroom wants is a Mistrial because a witness won't listen to the question.
@@hackernews5280 there's no such thing as a lawyer without an agenda. If a lawyer doesn't have an agenda, then they are not effectively representing their clients' interests.
