Of course there is an underlying agenda, but meaningful change in how police engage the public is going to require it. The question is, do you believe police officers should be subject to the equal rights provision of the 14th amendment? If a citizen had done this he'd be viciously attacked in the media and certainly convicted. This judge is behaving differently because the accused is a cop.

    • @clydeterry7865

@Mick Jagger No sir, police officers are not allowed any leniency or extra rights, read the 14th amendment. If a cop can't do his job without criminally assaulting citizens he needs to find another line of work.
ALL PERSONS are subject to the same laws. Most reasonably intelligent persons believe police officers should be held to a higher standard of lawful and moral behavior , not a lower one.

Bottom line, she saw someone murdered 1 foot away and was helpless. As a firefighter I would’ve probably tackled the officer myself and went to jail to save his life.
If I’m willing to die to save a life , to me that’s not even a hard decision. I would’ve absolutely tackled and prevented a murder.
She dedicated her life to saving people (I AM A FIREFIGHTER) and am willing to risk my life ANYTIME if I have an opportunity to save someone.
I couldn’t imagine standing there witnessing someone be murdered and not be able to help and then be chastised in court like I’m not a good person for getting upset and emotional, especially over the fact that somehow trials like to concentrate and focus on upsetting a witness who prob feels guilty that she couldn’t do anything to save him
