    Thanks! I just got a portable 144hz monitor and I have countless mechanical keyboards and several wireless mice. I think I can put this information to good use with my Razer Blade 15 and make a nice looking setup.

    I was playing minecraft in my normal laptop and it was a bit laggy ,so i made the steps on this video, i plugged it to a 4k 144hz and i could then make more than 1920x1080 default resolution of my laptop, and earned more than default 60Hz refresh rate, then i tried playing minecraft, there were no more lags after setting to 1920x1080 in the game, thanks for your very helpful video! Hope it gets a 1M ❤🙏🏼

    My MSI Gl76 (i7-12700H + 64GB RAM) is used as a desktop. Better to keep the lid closed and place it on an active cooling pad. It's much faster than my 9th gen desktop. The only downside is that you can only connect one independent monitor unless you use the laptop display as a second. Hardware modding can be done to convert the internal display connector into a second HDMI output BTW...

      you can't, you'll have to open your lid on your laptop and press the power button, it'll still display to you monitor and you can close the lid again once it's powered up.

      Purchase a keyboard which has a power button on it.. there are a few like that. I believe it only works for sleep though not sure about shut down. I am planning on a DIY myself with an old HP laptop that still runs but I was hoping to see how he hid the laptop in the background so it can be permanently used as a desktop PC.

      Many thanks Jose Pedro Tavizon Arellanes. With regard to my set up, when the lid is closed the Wi-Fi signal seems okay, I haven't noticed any issues. Could it be because you're some way from your router? Thanks

    To me this just makes so much sense, laptops are pretty cheap now, and now you have both a PC and can grab it off with you and use it as a laptop.... Why do people bother having laptops when this set up makes so much sense?

    • @xastolfrimusixx42
      @xastolfrimusixx42 2 года назад

      Not really. You just need active Cooling, and make sure that the environment is not too hot. If you have a laptop with already good cooling and/or also not a very hot chip which are the lower-end ones or the U SKUs it will produce less heat.
