I’ll tell you what I just love about Raye… she’s just real, but seems kind hearted. We hear you Raye.
I just love that she’s so joyful in life but more so when she performs. It’s rare to see an artist truly love every element of what they do. She’s also spoken with great passion about the background artists and musicians. They are integral to her performances not a side note. Raye loves musicianship. She loves the craft of creating music and she’s so passionate about it that when you listen to her talk about it, it is just so genuine and heartfelt. She’s a musician who does not fit the mould, she has no genre, maybe only Gaga in recent years has done that also. But Raye feels more accessible somehow and people love her for it. She wears her heart on her sleeve and her honesty is breathtaking. Ice cream man is performed differently every time and each listen you get something extra. She is an extraordinary talent of this lifetime and probably many lifetimes. I aim to see her perform live one day and I already know I will be blown away.

@@Chiefall speculation of course. But I don't think they asked her to be amy, but probably to use her voice. The singing by the actress has been heavily critized. Raye probably said no to that, all the comparisons are flattering but she wants to be known as Raye. Accepting this would really hinder her and how others see her as an artist.
What an outstanding, marvelous and inspirational young talent, one in a million, her songs helped me a lot throughout my cancer treatment, best ever female artist... keep going lots of love
