I wish more people would pay attention to the content of your video. With so many brow products getting the brows one wants or that enhance ones appearance is so easy, if only people would consider the tips and pointers in your video.
Distance is so important especially… I see so many people who make the start of their brows thick and close together and it really makes their eyes looks super close together which isn’t flattering unless you have eyes that are naturally super wide
I’ve finally found someone who analyzes faces the way I do. You confirm a lot of what I’ve noticed from examining my own face and other people’s. And you make me notice new things. Could you do a video on cranial top? I have a high forehead with a very low cranial top and it’s really hard for me to find a suitable hairstyle. My hair just never falls right around my face because my hairline is a little too far back. Bangs don’t suit me. A side part with volume doesn’t look bad but it makes my forehead and face look bigger. It’s the one thing I can’t find a solution for. Thank you.

Gun described in the initial comment but on top of a high+wide forehead (heart shaped face) and low cranial top I also have somewhat of a "receding hairline". I'm not too sure whether this is the correct term to use but genetically I have this high hairline that's a little similar to aging men with a receding hairline where "corners" or triangles of skin get exposed if you know what I mean... Thankfully I do not have big bald spots as I'm only 21 years old🥲but my hairline sort of mimics those "corners" or triangles (think of the shape of the letter M but compressed) which makes my forehead appear even bigger and finding a haircut that suits my face more difficult since I also don't have a lot of hair to simply cover those parts effectively😖So if you plan to talk about hairline in an upcoming video I'd highly appreciate it if you could give some suggestions on how to counterbalance this type of hairline as well!😊✨
2:21 I just realized this whole effect a couple of weeks ago 😭 all this time I thought closer eyebrows=slimmer nose but as you said, it can actually emphasize my wide nostrils by having that contrasting width. So after adjusting my eyebrows to start at my tear ducts instead, it's more flattering with my nose + closer set eyes, and having the heads of eyebrows actually smaller (more narrowed shaped vs blocky) they now look more in harmony with my soft features as well
Yeah closer brows can make the nose look slimmer but it does end up drawing more emphasis to the center of the face as a result, and especially if you have close-set eyes and wide nostrils I wouldn't recommend it!
The two eyebrow videos have been very helpful and illuminating. You explain and show things very clearly. I would love to see videos on how to balance a long slim face, which tends to hang, what can be done to give it some lift.
I think that you should check out my "why do older women opt for shorter hair?" video! It doesn't just talk about aging faces but also about long faces in general which I think you'd find the tips helpful :)
Omg yes please. I hate wearing sunglasses cuz I have low contrast features and a long philtrum…sunglasses look so weird on me. A sunglasses video would be amazing
ALSO, the depth of your eyes, and the prominence of your nose vs cheeks is super important. Eyes that are set way back into the eyesocket create a deep shadow which is very pretty on most women. But if the eyebrow is too low or too straight, it can get masculine looking on deep eyes. If your nose is wide or large you need slightly larger eyebrows to de-emphasize your nose. If your cheeks are not prominent a higher eyebrow arch can help round out your cheeks and plump them up visually.
my natural brows are very dark, short and straight (thanks PCOS) - but I feel like I want a slight angle to them after this video-series (bc I want to show off my more masculine features) Love your videos Jenn!! You really help me figure out what look I want (and how to try different ones) and if I feel like changing some features or not.

Throughout the years I've had thick and thin brows, trying to find what looks best on me. 😂 My brows now seem to be ideal for my face (I have large, round-ish eyes' and naturally thick eyebrows and a heart shaped or diamond face shape). My ideal brows are a little higher than my natural brows (and since I'm not going to get a brow lift, I achieve that by plucking the bottom layer of my brows and using a brow pencil or gel to draw a little above my brows' and also to fill them in). I also use a brow pencil or gel that's a little bit lighter than my natural color to lighten the look up. Also I look best with just a slight arch, almost straight brows' which seems to follow the line of my natural brows. Nothing too harsh or exaggerated. :)
Your content is amazing! I never thought about facial proportions like this before!! I always thought I had a big forehead, but I actually have a bit of a shorter mid-face! In thinking about eyebrows the worst mistakes I see are when women get them micro bladed too dark and too thick.
It’s interesting I’ve learned how to do my makeup by over analyzing my own face and others people’s faces. I notice when anything is slightly off and on my face I’m like something is off about my eyes or eyebrows. This is why people like me can have body dysmorphia. I over focus on one thing or tiny details and think I’m hideous. If I see things as a whole then I like the way I look but my brain goes right back to over-focusing. I don’t know if people can just change the way they see things so I guess it’s just something we have to learn to manage.
I'd love it if you could explain glasses. I've noticed that certain women look sooo good with more eclectic/bigger glasses and I'd love to know why - is it just style and confidence or is something about facial harmony? I've struggled for the longest time with what glasses suit my face best

Learning about proportions and personal styling, I did take courses as well as study on my own - so nothing God-given here, all learned knowledge through school and experiences!! :D
I have RBF so I always soften and lighten my brows. When someone is gonna do my make-up, I always always emphasize to them not to make my brows sharper and darker.

I'm confused because everyone has always said the closer your eyebrow heads are, the more narrow your nose will look. And that if you have more prominent facial features you need more prominent brows to match.
Can you do a video about styling makeup/hair for chubby cheeks? I particularly have chipmunk cheeks with small/narrow lips (which makes my cheeks look even larger) and would love some advice :)
If you have a strong prescription and your glasses make your eyes smaller, it would certainly change the visual weight of your face! I used to wear glasses before I got LASIK and I was half blind, so I know...! But glasses themselves could also be a way to bring the emphasis to your eyes themselves, so the style of the glasses could help! I've gotten some requests to make a video on glasses and sunglasses, so I'll see what I can come up with and hopefully that will give you some ideas! :)
Having dark brows on the inner portion, near the nose, also makes you look mad, and kinda scary too😅 cartoon villians have that dark brow, thats dark on the inner part, with high arches. Cruella Deville 😅
I have no knowledge about Photoshop apps. There are a lot of them out there which one did you use to be able to take your picture and alter your eyebrows like that? hopefully it is easy to use as well…..ha!! I want to see which eyebrow looks the best on me before I start plucking again.
Then you would need to fill them in but depending on how soft / bold you want to go you can adjust the level as you need! I actually think having sparse brow hair is sort of a blessing in the sense that you can alter the shape of your brows quite easily :)

Deep set eyes also benefit from increased THICKNESS along the top where the bone catches the light. This is because of how the light hits prominent brow bones and makes the face appear bony. By drawing or feathering a thicker line above the brows - a la Audrey Hepburn- this boniness is mitigated AND you don't need to lighten them!!!
