Haven't seen anyone appreciate at 8:25 how Pucci just fucking screams in pure agony-fueled rage when Dio dies. Like, the man just *snaps.* Pucci's pre-anime VA (unless they're the same) did a great job.
I love this because we never see Pucci’s reaction to losing Dio. Like thinking into it, he gave him everything and push him to reach his destiny. He isn’t like Mariah in part 3 where he is just a blind Dio enthusiast, but rather sees him as a figure to look up to and seek for guidance. Having him lose that guidance must have been tough seeing how when he steals Jotaro’s disks, he steals his memory for the heaven plan, and his stand for sentimentality reason since he would’ve been defeated alone aslong as he didn’t have his memory disk.

Hearing Gyro and Johnny cry out for eachother with just sheer pain and sadness in these voices really shows how much they care for eachother, I know this isn’t cannon but they really were like brothers to each other it’s really sad to see scenes like this
I wish we saw Trish's reaction at Diavolo dying. Some relief and shock that he's finally gone. If Hot Pants were playable, I think she would have some pity for him dying. I suppose Funny Valentine's followers would be shocked to see the President fall with a stand that powerful.

I think one thing I never realized is how Jonathan and Lisa Lisa interact. I think none of us really see Jonathan as a father figure because he never really had the opportunity to be alive to be there for them. Seeing Jonathan genuinely upset that he wasn’t there for Lisa Lisa’s life even though none of it was his own fault really encapsulates the selflessness of end of part 1 Jonathan.

I think none of us really see Jonathan as a father figure because he never really had the opportunity to be alive to be there for them.
