Without a doubt, black culture has heavily influenced streetwear today, but with that being said you also need to acknowledge that there are major white cultural aspects in streetwear too. I mean the Jordan 1 was mainly designed by a white guy, along with many other Jordan's. Just my opinion, I fully respect yours, but idk.
again, i understand they are a disrespected shoe but through my research i saw that michael jordan hurt his ankle wearing highs and after that he only wore mids. i'm not certain if this is 100% true but i do think they are more flattering on me because i'm short (5'3") it's also a more affordable price point which i always love!

Yea I wear a 7.5 in women’s and so that should translate to a 5.5y however 5.5y ends up being to narrow on my foot and so if I buy youth they have to be a 6y and then they’re a little too loose. So I opt to just buy a 7.5 women’s size and they’re perfect. It does suck because GS is cheaper but I’d rather have them fit like a glove and not crease as bad. When they’re a little loose they crease BAD. Anyways, great explanation I enjoyed listening to you and would come back and watch again especially if you could do reviews on fit and material and longevity of the shoe.

Yes. I’m US 8 WMNS and almost all of my shoes are either US 8 WMNS, US 6.5 MENS, or 6.5Y (GS Sizes). I also have shoes which are US 7 Mens just because there’s no stock for a 6.5M. It’s good for when you’re wearing thick socks. Also, it’s better to measure your foot size in CM. Nike’s boxes usually comes with sizes in cm. If you’re a size 8 like me, your foot size will probably be 24.3/24.5/24.6. 25cm is already US 7 Mens but still okay. Jordans (and most of Nike’s shoes are almost always true to size).

Yes get 6.5. AF1 and Jordans 1s are about the same size. however for Jordan 11s get a half size up since they are more narrow.

Air Forces are cheaper because Nike mass produces them, but they’re lower quality leather than Jordan 1’s.
