In this video I give you 5 reasons to consider when purchasing Asrocks Steel legend RX 7600. This video is an overview of the GPU and it's features... and also it's downsides.

Thank you, honestly hood to hear!
I love this video so musch ❤
Hi @BlueprintPC Is Asrock gpu good for long term? I am considering buying this gpu for my am5 build.
That looks good! I hope Asrock makes more Steel Legend graphics cards. 7700 7800 7900 I would get it. I have a white 4070 right now
Im hoping for a sick RX 7700 xt
@@BlueprintPC already exists
Thanks for the review. I had my sights set on a 7600 since its prices were dropping as low as a 6650xt, but I have a gen 3 B450 mobo and now I'm worried about the whole gen 4 "8 lanes" thing scuffing my performance. The 6650xt benchmarks seem close enough to the 7600, especially considering the lower price, but they were so close I was just going to opt for the newer 7600. Would I be better off w/ my older mobo going with a 6650xt? Thanks for any additional insight. Subbed and liked!
Thank you, glad to help
The 7600 really isnt at the level where it will saturate the bandwidth of PCIE gen 3 x8.
The 6650xt is also x8, to get x16 you need to go up to the 6700xt
Can i use a b760m motherboard for the rx 7600?
As someone who doesn't know pcs or components an ASRock RX 6600 was recommended to me for a budget build in the future. Of course I wanted an Aesthetic build of a Pink case and White/Black components so it is pretty much one option I could opt for. Already have a XFX version of one in mind which seems like people probably trust more anyways so either ASRock or XFX.
ASRock doesn't seem all too bad then?
Mr. Blue
I absolutely love my MSI Radeon RX6800xt
I'm on Ryzen 3000....namely 3800x
I'm just boggled how far AMD had gone....
I'll upgrade in 4 years maybe
Love the channel
Thank you! 6800xt should deff hold you over for a while!
Would you recommend this card in 16gb for a fist build or the intel arc A770 from asrock with 16gb?
This card
@@RengokuAMVs-im6xy I wish o could of afford it the one I wanted with the right memory bus I should of know ran about $500 I went with the Intel for now but when I get more money I’m going for a AMD or NVidia 4070super or rx7600xt they are both nice!.
@@ramenshells9715 get the 4070 super when you will be able to afford it!
do any of the side letters light up as well?
They do not, just the fans
I've spent the last 6 months looking for a graphics card. I can't for the life of me decide what to do. I don't have the budget for a complete upgrade, at the moment there's only budget for a GPU upgrade. I'm on PCIe3, on a i7-8700k and an Asus 1080ti 11gb. It was the bees knees when i bought it in 2017. The GPU sorta needs to be "upgraded" because the GPU fans have massive problems.
Do you have any suggestions that would help me ?
As to your statement about performance drop on PCIe3 vs PCIe4 isn't entirely accurate. Gamers Nexus sent out a video in october 22 where they show that the performance discrepancy is 1-2% between the two platforms. (Atleast for the 3080)
Hey there, so yes for the 3080 it's minimal difference. I completely agree and have said this past videos. The 6600&7600 are both PCIE by 8 lanes only. 3080 is gen 4.0 x 16 lanes. As for which gpu thats a tough choice, 1080ti is still decent today. I would look at 6700xt or 3060ti
@@BlueprintPC Apparently Gamers Nexus sent out a video testing the same thing with the 4090 later that month. They saw a maximum of 3% difference between platforms, except in one game, which was an outlier and most likely a driver bug.
Yep seen that one too, check out there video on the rx 6600 & 6500 pcie 3.0 vs 4.0. The only 8 lanes is where the problem is. Not the gen 3 vs 4
@@BlueprintPC So i just swapped out the fans and thermal paste on my 1080ti, and it dropped almost 30c in idle running. Where it before went past the 100c mark on hotspots it never passes 80c now. It's back to running almost as if it is new. Granted it's the 11gig strix OC model, and i guess it helped cleaning all the dust filters and fans in my case as well. I see no reason to buy a new card now 🙂 All it took was new fans and thermal paste for a grand total of $60.
Found this card with a good deal but, will it work with CM Elite 500W 80+White V4 PSU?
Get a 600W or more for future upgrade brother.
Is it worth it going from a 2070 super to this? Or should I get a 4060 or rx 6750xt
Rx 6750 xt is actually pretty much the same. Just more vram and slightly more performance. If you wanna safe some money buy this one.
I love the steel legend design, and since i have a asrock x670 steel legend MOBO, my next gpu will be a asrock steel legend as well.
First design i really like, i hate those black boring boxes, everyone else does and the price is also right, especially on the 7800 xt.
how does this compare with the rtx 3060??
Way better
Should i left my xfx 6600xt go and get this card ?
No, I wouldn't. Not a big enough performance increase
If you could get a used MSI 6800xt for almost the same price, so why?
Of course go that route, not all areas have them that cheap ir even available. I get comments from people all over and it's different everywhere
So I will buy or not 🤨
Is it ARGB ?
Yes
Hi! does anyone know if this is compatible with a pcie 3 mobo? (Im new to pcs)
Compatible yes, but you will lose some performance due to this card is only by 8 lanes
@@BlueprintPC okay thanks!
@@BlueprintPChow much performance would you lose in pcle 3.0
@@Spexz_Techin gaming about 3 fps for every 100. The 1% lows are hit the most with about 20% loss. Depends on the game. Watch a video so you know more about it
I bought this version card in a Rx 7800 XT and Rx 7600 8 gb
I have extra to spare for an rx7600 should I get this one? Or is it worse than others
My pc can fit this one btw
Hey there, I like this one, it's good looking and stays cool. Plus it's one of the few with decent rgb if you require that
@@BlueprintPCthanks will most likely get it and vertically mount it
Hell yeah! I love me a good vert mount lol thats how my card sits. Just make sure you get a good brand cable to go with it that is alos gen 4.0 PCIe
I am stuck between getting this GPU and the XFX Radeon RX 7600.
Honestly they should perform about the same. I would look at which one will compliment your build
@@BlueprintPC this GPU right here gets the upper hand
Cooler is waaaay overkill for a 160w card, i know it's so they can justify the price but come on! where my lp cards at
So I found this for just $20 over MSRP which I think is fair. I do want to see some killer low pro cards. I want to build some kind of stealth build just hasn't been much in the lp or single fan in the last few years
They can reuse those for cards higher up the stack like the 7700xt or 7800xt when those comes out, Asrock did that a lot.
RX 6650xt cheaper, same or even better perf and more power efficent, RX 7600 stands no chances with that price
