Whoever made Ion Satellite Cannon - MK2 needs a job with Konami asap. The effect is creative in a way that makes sense for what the card is (it's essentially summoned in outer space). Its amazing effect of passively letting you pop a card once per turn, in a way that is difficult to block with a lot of standard negates, is balanced around needing to use up your Normal Summon and tributing 2 monsters. I'd say the biggest downside of this card is that it's an immediate -2, and that's only if you go second (-3 if you go first for most situations). I'd say it could go down to 1 tribute and probably still be pretty balanced.
It's already decent as it is, tho I'd like to at least have another normal summon if I summon the card, then the cost will be similar to dpe, which is 2 monsters
I would make it a trigger during each Standby Phase, and make it a non-targeting face down banish, and give it a condition that X turns, it can banish the entire field. If you got a Kill Sat, might as well go full-on Death Star.
That Rosemi card at the end was hilarious! "Steal a piece of furniture from your opponent" then "The v-tuber legally owns that furnature". 10/10 want a Rosemi deck now. Get all the furniture for the little rose!
Yknow after coming back, the person who made Nova Wingman must be pumping their fist cuz that's exactly what we got in the new Flame Wingman retrain. Searches a fusion and tags out into a hero
For Zera: Even without forcing the opponent to activate cards, trading a spell/trap of your choice with the opponent is still pretty good. The obvious trick is to trade a continuous card that functions for both players. That is just pure advantage and costs your opponent a spell/trap zone they’ll struggle to get rid of without further disadvantage.
The Satellite Cannon is pretty good and has a clever effect but that Zera retrain got my attention, it's good for what it is and will make the rest of the Zera cards usable. Although, I'd like to see Crab Turtle, Skull Guardian, Hungry Burger, Super War Lion and the rest of the old school ritual monsters get retrains.

The Zera ritual card has a bit of a broken mechanic- It doesn't specify face-down cards. So you can, for example, use Xing Zhen Hu to cancel out two of your opponent's backrow, then use this to pick a third card while giving them Xing. Now they can't activate those two, have a negative trap on their side of the field, and just had a third card stolen.
That Ion satellite cannon could have some synergy with the new monster therions' "king" regulus as it puts it on field as an equip spell you can find a way to banish it from the spell/trap zones and bypass the summoning requirement.
Watched this video because the card for Blue-Eyes Ultimate Chaos Dragon was in the thumbnail caught my attention. Interesting cards, despite the text walls some of them had. Anyway, the reason the Blue-Eyes card caught my attention was because I created Blue-Eyes Chaos Ultimate Dragon using that exact art (pulled it from Google, forgot who the original artist was). Reason for creating it was to give the deck a versitile boss monster that works with the various summoning me mechanics the deck has (Ritual, Fusion, and Synchro)
Nice ideas Having been playing Dragunities for awhile I've been waiting for them to get a new level 12 synchro Effect wise, maybe a quick effect to once per turn equip a dragunity in the graveyard to it. Making Dragunities on the field immune to opponents trap (and maybe spell) effects while it has an equip. Followed by a small attack boost to Dragunities or Wind Monsters depending on the number of banished dragunities? Effects that combo well with the 3 level 10 dragunites that banish dragunities for effects and the level 2 dragunity that searches Dragon Ravine and special summons itself from the graveyard when you have a dragunity on the field
Ion Satellite Cannon - MK2 is one of those cards that doesn’t seem like it’s that good when it appears, but after getting to the second turn & onward of it being banished, your opponent would realize how much of a problem it’s going to be for them. Why? Because that can’t destroy/banish it to stop it doing it’s thing. By that point, it’s already too late. All in all, sounds like something I’d play. I’d probably add it to version of my Gradius deck that already has Satellite Cannon & it’s fusion in it.
It's still pretty damn slow. There's no quick-effect attached to it, so it can't disrupt your opponent's plays, and most decks can put 8k on the board easily. I feel if you arn't run over the turn after you've played ISC-2, you were already winning that game. It does out Mystic Mine though.
You forget that Mecha-Phantom/Deskbot/Needlefiber token spam is a thing. You could get several of these + multiple boss monster omni-negates on the field. Good luck playing the game when you can’t special summon or activate spell/trap cards, then anything you normal summon/set gets popped anyway by non-destruction removal.
You would definitely need to build a deck around it, because more-so than requiring 2 tributes, it eats your normal summon for a -3 upon use. This card would need a very solid tribute engine that can afford both it's material cost and one of your most valuable summons of the turn for it. That said, still really cool, although I'd be curious to see it as The primary gimmick of an archetype. Either give it a roudamentary internal tribute engine or give it cards to cut down it's costs and then give them a handful of similar boss monsters that basically turn your banish zone into a standby phase assembly line of effects.
I like the idea of it being part of an archetype that has non-boss monsters in it, as for lowered cost and your normal summon, spells like Star Blast, Cost Down, and Double Summon do exist.
The main rulling issue for card names is deck allocation its mostly know with cyber harpy lady and the normal Basically the text just cant read 'is always treated as' and you can run 3 of every card unlike they harpie thats 1 or the other
@@guydooeinfinity At least for cards that are _also_ treated as another one, this would make perfect sense. Though, this doesn't seem that troublesome. This merely has to be clarified through a ruling.

The first effect being a pendulum summon implies you can't activate it without a scale on the other side. @@lucasaguiar9490 The idea behind the pendulum effect is that by how the pendulum summoning mechanic works (Scales are between 1-13) you cannot pendulum summon level/rank one monsters. _THIS_ is an attempt to work around that limitation whilst keeping with the spirit of the mechanic And I fixed the “sent to the GY” part to just proc off of battle destruction in general.

Really sad i didn't see that you streamed this :( I would've love to be there when you looked at my Netherrealm cards x3 I definetly didn't try to make an archetype usable because I share a nickname with it...
I'm fairly curtain that the field spell can never be treated as pandemonium and sanctuary in the sky, because there is never a "Zera, lord of the netherrealms" on the field because it is always treated as "zera the mant" just so you know
I have an irl custom card that I made from an original comic character mine. Is a link 3 zombie with the effect: Once per turn, you can banish 1 monster from your gy, then this card gain atk equal to the original atk of the banished monster and their effects. If this card would be destroyed and send to the gy, you can special summon one monster banished by this card effect instead, then this card lose the atk and effect from that monster.
Not to mention the sheer number of them. Yugioh is a fun game, but my god has the card text and rulings been an issue forever. Veterans have just gotten to used to it they don't notice
The banish zone is wierd theres cards that stop you from interacting with it Monsters have like 5 different ways that make it so they cant go there but i dont know of one that is like a strait cant be banished
Magic has worse rulings nightmares just look at a video explaining the rulings iceberg. Their is a card that can give an angel creature a counter that says so long as you control this creature you can’t lose and your opponent can’t win. But due to rulings the counter itself doesn’t give the creature the effect and is just a permanent game state ruling attached to the card it was put on the “counter” is just a physical reminder that it has that effect. Plus even if it stops being an angel or a creature it still has this effect on it and it’s still active so long as the card is on the field you need to make the it leave the field to get rid of the effect. Even than the most common method of using this to win is putting it on an indestructible land that can become any creature type for a turn and either decking your opponent out or waiting for them to surrender.
God dayum, but people need to chill with the card text, most of these could have half as much text and still have the same effects... it's silly to have more than 6-7 lines of text, can you imagine someone trying to read effs like that in a tournament? My god it would be so frustrating.
@@eiolenimi6778 Yes, that doesn't mean it's a good way to design cards as a basic concept, wars also exist, doesn't mean it's a good thing... Having every card consist of 10 lines of text is just not a good idea. Also it becomes somewhat excusable when the card is part of an archetype which uses similar effects so you don't have to read the entirety of the effect text. This is an issue for card games, which most other card games solved or at least mitigated by using keywords, as long as you play the game or read up on it and know the keywords you can usually tell what a card does by keyword, but obviously yugioh doesn't have that and there's no possible way to erratum 10 thousand cards, so you have to keep the text to being at least relatively concise. The 10 to 11 lines or so of text was on some of the cards in the video is just ridiculous because you end up having to change the font size, which is never a good idea, at that point you should realize the cards design is flawed. Keeping it to 5-7 lines is what the vast majority of yugioh cards do, yes there are outliers like endymion and generally pendulum cards, but pendulums are basically 2 cards in one, if it's in a spell zone you don't need to read it's monster eff and vice versa.

When a "King of the Skull Servants" you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you may destroy this card instead, and send it to either the GY or extra deck. Once per turn (quick effect), you may change the attribute of this card in hand, field or graveyard to either LIGHT or DARK._
ATK/500 DEF/500
It looks MUCH better, so keep it coming!
The first effect being a pendulum summon implies you can't activate it without a scale on the other side.
Also the floating effect doesn't work because pendulums don't get sent to the gy when destroyed by battle, they go to the extra deck, just don't specify it needs to be sent to the gy or say "to the extra deck" instead.
@@lucasaguiar9490
This used to not be a pendulum monster, so feedback like this is why I do this sort of thing.
@@lucasaguiar9490
Right, so let me spruce it up a little:
Pendulum effect: _You may only pendulum summon with this card while “King Of The Skull Servants” is out on the field. When you conduct a pendulum summon with this card, you may instead banish any level/rank 2 or higher monster(s) that would be summoned to instead special summon any number or level/rank 1 monsters from your hand, extra deck or graveyard who’s combined levels/ranks equal or are less then the combined levels/ranks of the monsters that would be pendulum summoned, OR send any number of either players banished cards to their respective GY’s, based on the number of monsters that would be pendulum summoned._
Zombie/Tuner/Pendulum/effect
_This card’s name becomes “Skull Servant” while on the field or in the GY. The ATK/DEF of this card is increased by the combined number of "King of the Skull Servants" and "Skull Servant" on your side of the field or in your GY x 500. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can banish 1 "Skull Servant" from your GY; Special Summon this card. When a "King of the Skull Servants" you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you may destroy this card instead. The idea behind the pendulum effect is that by how the pendulum summoning mechanic works (Scales are between 1-13) you cannot pendulum summon level/rank one monsters. _THIS_ is an attempt to work around that limitation whilst keeping with the spirit of the mechanic
And I fixed the “sent to the GY” part to just proc off of battle destruction in general.
@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire 0 scales do exist, so it is possible to pend summon lv1s
I'd find some way to run that Ion satellite cannon card in my sky strikers deck, that'd help SO much with floodgates ~~skill drain/imperial order~~ it's worth the slight inconsistency
10:58 it’s funny, because every effect on this HERO card is done better by other monsters in HEROs that all see play in HERO decks, but it would still be an auto include in HERO decks because you can summon it with literally no effort.
"Your opponent cannot target cards (anywhere) with card effects"
Would a boss monster with that effect be played?
That effect will never be printed again. Due to the ruling nightmares it caused as well as all the self-disruption is causes.
@@scarletterose1303 What was the card? I can't find it
Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid has this effect for all Lightsworn monsters.
@@scarletterose1303 If I may ask, what self-disruption? I specifically wrote "your opponent". It's one sided. And why would it cause ruling nightmare? Targetting is a pretty simple thing no ?
So will you please cover the Cyber End Dragon fan made upgrade card in the future please?
Imagine a whole new archetype with gazelle the king of mythical beast I would definitely do it
You could use Zera to give your opponent an unfortunate report and activate it, giving yourself 2 battle phases. Honestly I really want the Zera retrain.
Mr duel logs is my 5th favorite custom card reviewer
"this card has too much text" wait till he sees modern Yu-Gi-Oh cards
Yeah I feel like chat was overreacting to the text. Like it's not as clean, mostly because he actually cut off sentences and went to the next line. Overall it's got the same standard stuff, people are just used to what they already know
That Blessed Leo card was definitely made by a Gimmick Puppet player who is fed up that they keep losing.
Where can i send My custom cards? I have a lot of them
12:57 i spat Out my Tea hahaha
Man I have made tooo many custom cards and archtypes. How can I share any of these with you 'DuelLogs Guy'?
Really sad i didn't see that you streamed this :(
I would've love to be there when you looked at my Netherrealm cards x3
I definetly didn't try to make an archetype usable because I share a nickname with it...
I'm fairly curtain that the field spell can never be treated as pandemonium and sanctuary in the sky, because there is never a "Zera, lord of the netherrealms" on the field because it is always treated as "zera the mant" just so you know

Will you ever do custom cards again? If so when do you think? (If you have plans)
Forgotten temple of the netherrealms actually can't summon the zera retrain, because it's always treated as "zera the mant"
Pls do a ruling video:)
I think the first Ritual Monster is Dokurorider
gimmick puppet disaster leo is in master duel? if yes, please use them.
knightmare unicorn and harpies basically would be the only form of removal for c88 blessed leo, and that's busted.
V-Hero Adoration is seen played by the D-hero deck rather than E-hero
V-heros, D-heros, and E-heros are all played together along with M-heros.
I won’t lie they’re correct, majority of modern hero builds don’t use adoration or trinity even with that easy to summon cost
Necro, but just give your opponent a floodgate and take a generic spell/trap would also be backbreaking fir the Zera card
When I can seed my cards to Duel logs?
I have an irl custom card that I made from an original comic character mine.
Is a link 3 zombie with the effect: Once per turn, you can banish 1 monster from your gy, then this card gain atk equal to the original atk of the banished monster and their effects. If this card would be destroyed and send to the gy, you can special summon one monster banished by this card effect instead, then this card lose the atk and effect from that monster.
So a link version of starving king venom.. dear god that would be so much worse.
yo where do we submit cards for review? love the series

"Yugioh rulings are pretty straightforward"
Queue five paragraphs about if vs when
Not to mention the sheer number of them. Yugioh is a fun game, but my god has the card text and rulings been an issue forever. Veterans have just gotten to used to it they don't notice
Where to submit my own custom cards?

Bait doll is my favorite card ever.
Gotta defend Dark Flattop here, if the Reactors were good, it would be regarded as a strong card. Or if it summoned any Machine.
Just use Dark Flattop to summon Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon.
I like the idea of making custom cards, but what about a full custom archetype based on another game?
Does any monster have banishing protection? (Except cards that are immune to other cards effects).
The banish zone is wierd theres cards that stop you from interacting with it
Monsters have like 5 different ways that make it so they cant go there but i dont know of one that is like a strait cant be banished
I FORCE THE ACTIVATION OF WAKING THE DRAGON!!!!
How do we send you these?

I´m not sure if your comment is sarcastic, but in case its not: endymion exists.
