I really hope you realize that your Comedy-both of you-helps us feel connected and not so alone. Laughter truly is healing.
Your art form is valued and can ‘hold up’ to be ageless when it comes to humanity and empathy; regardless of where an audience member is in their life or head, your words can include us in our common humanity.💖💖

Gary grasiously replied to me on Twitter to my comment complimenting his book. Makes me like him even more! His book resonated with me very much and so does his openness with mental health issues!

This was a great conversation. I really only know Gary Gulman from last Comic Standing.
The Marc Maron part is so on point.

I’m still listening while I read the comments. I like Marc Maron interviews, but I disagree with his political rants.

Gary Gulman's remark about his favorite item of trivia made me have a spit-take! I ordered a few books on the basis of this conversation, including his. Thanks!!

Do you by any chance know the title of the book that Tom mentions about clearing out the father's house after he dies?

What a great podcast - thank you! I particularly enjoyed listening to two of my favorite comedians discuss various books in such funny and insightful ways. Looking forward to reading Gary’s new book and also finding Tom’s essays from the New Yorker. I agree that Warner Bros cartoons rule!

In response to your question about what the point of [talk] therapy is: I think it’s an opportunity to say out loud the things in your head that are bothering you to the point of crippling you and help you face your feelings about those thoughts without shame.

@PBDpodcast asked a very important question,Why the stock market at all time high with interest-rates moving at such a fast pace,
My answer to that is because of this method called (O.C.I) or Organized Calculated Inflation, it's a type of method that is very effective but seems normal in the eyes of the public, for example 👁eye drop 1grain of blue sand on a beach full of white sand and instead of the blue grain disappearing the entire beach turns blue
