Yes, he has! I still think of his "wizard's familiar" and double-ended, black dildo jokes. I love all his specials, especially "Talking for Clapping" and his story of becoming a widower and single dad then falling in love with his second wife.

As a composer of jazz, ….. I strangely have to deal with what I bring to the table musically VS.. what the great composers before me were saying…………..
It’s a similar battle for ‘relevance’.
I think it’s such a imperative dialogue.
But…… IRON SHARPENS IRON.
And …….. one day you find yourself becoming your biggest fan…… not in a haughty sort of way………
But…….. when I listen to something I’ve written…….. and the melody still brings tears to my eyes……….. you realize………. Only you could have assembled that …….. MOOD….
Only “YOU “ could invoke that simple eloquence………. Just that way!!!
And like you brave geniuses…….. it’s an honor to add to the preciousness of life’s archives of choice entertainment…………….sharing the magic……….
And as you two are doing on your wonderful podcast……… REMINDING EACH OTHER……….just how wonderful and RARE………… both of you are!!!!!!!!!

Abrupt ending?
Every time someone says, "By the power of...." I'm immediately transported back to a time when life seemed much simpler and a muscular cartoon character with a big sword had my full attention for thirty minutes at a time.

Wow. The way you two kept going on about how hilarious Dave Atell is, I had to look him up (I'd never heard of him). I watched a couple of his shows on RUclips and don't find him funny at all. I find you both much funnier than he is.
Attel is not for everyone. And afterall, taste in humor is personal.Cant explain why we like a certain comic but not another.
