- Colin Quinn hates sourdough bread but we we love his new show Small Talk coming to the Greenwich Theater in NYC. FYI he's never had MY sourdough.

Colin Quinn is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. Quinn first gained widespread attention for his work as a cast member and writer for the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 2000, and he became known for anchoring Weekend Update, the show's news parody segment. We need more Colin Quinn in our lives!
we need more colin in the mix. is there no soundguy on this show?!
I heard him.
Colin has the exact right personality that makes it not annoying when he eats while talking 😂
Amazing
Colin brings big-picture intellect to his perspective on comedy, history, and life. Whatever the hell that means, I enjoy it.
Like a Bertrand Russell?
ten minutes in and I can finally hear Colin, nice!
Pro mic skills
Just two of my favorite comedians having a great conversation 😊 Thank you both! This was really fun to watch 😅
"...If I lived here don't you think you'd know it?" - Patrice 😂 😂 😂
If someone can't understand you Colin, they are idiots! You break everything down so unique. I always laugh so hard and always look for anything with you in it! Love your work, Gayla
I love the New York story I can listen to that everyday all day and still laugh..
Please tell Colin to bring back _Tough Crowd_. What's an hour a week? COME ON MAN!
Props to Colin for using words such a "scintilla."
Colin pulls a Dennis Miller-esque obscure reference with Brother Theodore. He was great and was always in character whenever I saw him.
I remember ads for the Brother Theodore show. I was a young kid, but the ads impressed me. A line drawing of a very grumpy guy. Colin could probably play it well. I always enjoy Colin’s reminiscences about NYC in the 60s and 70s, reminds me of those days.
Good combo, this made me feel like when I saw Whitney and Bert, or Joe and Duncan for the first time. Could listen to you two rant for hours
Two legends playing would you rather is so funny. Great pod! I loved both your specials. 🙌🏼
Two of my very favorite comedians!!!
Love Colin ! 🥰
Colin is one of the greatest comics of all time
Gotta love Colin 😎
I always loved Colin Quinn.
This studio set up is 100% better than the dark oval booth
Colin is the best 😂
Please, speak into the microphone Colin!
Give him a break...He's eating.
Ken Fresno does what he wants!! A man of the People!!
Gotta have a producer there with you next time to shove that mic into Colin's face. Some cloudlifters will help with that gain noise, too.
Just a note: crescendo is not the peak. It just means to play louder. :)
Colin is the best.
Brother Theodore on Letterman and Merv Griffen is something to see.
Tom, you were right. I don't know why Colin corrected you. It has been over 20 years of Broadway. An Irish Wake at the Helen Hayes Theatre was 1998
The audio is 80% Papa and 20% Quinn for the first ten minutes
one of the best
These two are just THE BEST!
He has a scowl through the whole interview 🤣🤣🤣
Cop show is fantastic
great episode😀
Great podcast! Next time you should turn the microphones on!
Two brilliantly funny comics & good humans!
Colin Quinn is a national treasure.
Tom, I love ya, but if you're gonna pay a guy to produce the pod...even if its $50...they gotta get the audio levels right. ESPECIALLY for the guest. Great conversation, but you can barely hear Colin
story about Patrice O'Neal in Aspen...., thank you.
I just watched the Tom Papa cop show episode. Hilarious. Colin and Keith trash Tom the whole episode.
Collin eats well; he should feel comfortable eating on a podcast.
It’s funny that Colin doesn’t like podcasts considering tough crowd was kind of like a video podcast with many guests
1:04:03 I Love Colin and Papa; but for the Love of God, WHO IS LIZ?????
Cop Show is the shit. Binge it once a year.
40:52 - This Moment made me laugh and laugh... I rewatched it... The two of them, checking the phones... Their personalities... Funny Fuckers.
Comedy brilliance!!!
Great episode. Can anyone post the video from Liz of Colin “Crooning” at Tom as mentioned. It’s sounds hilarious.
Wish I could hear Colin.
Maybe get your hearing checked? On my phone, laptop & ear buds I heard every word.
I can hear him, no problems.
Frank died in 1993. Prostate cancer, 53 y/o
Who is Liz they are referring to?!!
Came cuz I like Colin. Couldn't hear him. Gave up after five minutes.
Nights of Cabiria was turned into the American film Sweet Charity.
Can you fix Colin's audio volume please? 🙏🏽
Half the podcasts out there haven't mastered equalizing audible levels. So dumb!
Maybe feed the animals AFTER the podcast…or even BEFORE?
Groucho talked about this PC crap all the way back when he did "You Bet your Life".. he said specifically that he can't say anything about anyone so I'll just have to say it about myself. Then he went on to read a letter from a plumber that said Groucho said something against plumbers, so of course Groucho apologized and the immediately followed it up with an plumber insult joke.
Question: would you rather be really funny or be handsome without a personality? Colin Quinn is both.
NOICE!
Tom, it's all in the song, everything is free now, gillian welch.
Austin Butler , who played ELVIS , also played Manson's hit man Tex Watson in 'Once Upon A Time in Hollywood'.
"Do you think the regular people are aware of it?" - tom papa. Thank god for our savior comedians🤮
What do "civilians" think of this? Stand-ups are such retards sometimes... fuckin hell
No volume
The Cherry Lane Theater, a century-old fixture in the West Village’s off-Broadway playhouse scene, has been sold for $10 million.
A partnership between entertainment company A24 and private equity firm Taurus Investment Holdings purchased the 14,400-square-foot theater last month after mounting debt caused its longtime owner and former artistic director Angelina Fiordellisi to sell. -- Crain's
I'm only a couple of minutes in but I feel like you should invite Mateo Lane and talk Italian cooking. Yum!!
YES! Brilliant idea.
LFG!!!
27:00 *Paul Giamatti
can't hear Colin
Bob Kelly looks great
He looks relieved to finally be out of the closet
Guess I don't have to watch Forrest Gump now...Thanks for nothin' Colin!
i sympathize with Colin's position, but it should serve as a reminder that fame and fortune is not a right no matter how hard you work. Comedy is fickle and tastes change.
cannot hear
I can’t take that Colin isn’t on his mic. Stopped.
Too unfocused. Rambling
Tom peepee
Hear me out, another holocaust but for people who still think salt is bad for you
Why is Colin's face so big in the thumbnail? I thought this was a RIP memorandum of this guy. Oh that's just your new design. It's bad but hey go with what you know.
😂😂😂... bread stuffed face eww
the audio producer...?
"Die in a civilized manner"😂 Quinn is the greatest
Brother Theodore was on Merv Griffin and Dick Caveat, too. He was quite an odd duck.
“No one remembers anything anymore”. I experience this often….
Colin Quinn is five years older than Tim Walz.
