- Most of the time, tourists visiting Taita Taveta prefer a ride through Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks, as well as visiting the battlefields of the First World War where British and German troops clashed. But one key aspect of the region's history which remains relatively unknown is the Grogan's castle which was built in the 1930's.
This place is heavenly. Been here more than once, and every time feels absolutely different.
Colonel Grogan “We have stolen his land. Now we must steal his limbs. Compulsory labor is the corollary of our occupation of the country.”
A demon in flesh.
Mweshimiwa Basil .
Indeed Kenya is rich in history and heritage!

Kumbe weupe wana ukabila!!
Where's Criticos? I haven't seen him for long.
This is a good project. Hon. Basil work on this and the Airstrip also....CS Balala should promote these kind of projects which can go well with Tourism
Grammar: "......under construction"
I have noted with misuse of "being" by Kenyan press.
M M but renovated is still the same thing its an old building ....anyway natumia irish English
Actually, the correct way to say it is, "...undergoing renovation". And you are right, kizungu yawakenya leaves a lot to be desired, then again, it is not our langue maternelle, so who cares?
land was ment for agricultural institute
Why do they allow people to sit on that historic bed
How about investing that money to the poor in kibera or feeding the poor in kenya building hospital schools etc.
use your money for such....
The Money spent here will generate more money...what will Kibera generate. Only eating
Why?
This will only happen via revolution. Read the comments. It shows the wickedness of these demons. Revolution is long overdue and its coming.
great investment...ignore the pessimists

@@heraldloshi1864 You are very right. I was replying to, what I assumed was a comment against tribalism. It seems when "black"/indigenous African people promote unity, some call it tribalism. Trying to assert that that is a bad thing. Which it is not.
@@blackchain1900 I get you.
This ain't no castle just a big house on a hill
Colonialism is a sad past, why does the government allow such? The only visitors will be muzungus imperialists😩😩
Pessimism
