I love Jorma Kaukokenen. ❤️ so glad to see them used to party to Hot Tuna at the Chateau in 69/70. Papa John can never be replaced.Keep on Truckin' mama!!
Bernstein was a terrific add to what history shows as the second to last year of Electric HT performances. Bernstein played the trumpet, the slide trumpet, and the flugelhorn. December 2 and December 3 were both classic shows.
Just spent last Thursday at UPAC for their Final Electric Show there. Hot Tuna Gone Fishing tour is the finest form of Hot Tuna electric you’ll ever see. ✌🏽🦁💚🎼⚡️🔥🖕🏽🐟⚡️
Fun fact: The Jack Cassidy signature model bass guitar made by Epiphone (which you see him playing in this video) is one of the finest bass guitars I've ever played, & it's not expensive!!! Every bassist should at least try one out if not own & play one. Thank you Jack for making such an instrument available & affordable! Jack has always been one of my favorite bassists. I've loved this band since I heard their first album more decades ago than I care to admit.
Awesome! I think Jorma is playing through two Louis Electric Cobras (Dumble clones) in the back right, and I think there's also a LE Deltone hidden to the left of them.
Sad but true. They have been playing the same thing for 50 years or more and look like they can't stop playing but seem to have lost that energy they once had. STILL incredible musicianship. But yeah like they are doing it for the money and want to go back to the hotel and hit the sack before midnight.
Even at their age, they are still awesome. He's not Papa John Creach, but the trumpet player added some spicy licks to the melodies. Thanks Hot Tuna!

The interdependence (I had to look that up) of those 2 musicians has astounded me since the first 'Hot Tuna' album.
Ty for sharing ❣️🎶😻🌎🎶❣️
Long live Tuna!

What did you expect, KISS?!?!? These guys are geezers, but they don't play like it. They just don't leap about anymore.
I’m here to listen - my ears can’t see…
The trumpet is terrible
The horn player has to go.
