Glad I ain't the only one...these guys are hitting me on an emotional level recently, which says how much I can Let Go and trust them to guide me through a musical journey.
This song has been a heavy repeat listen for me too. One morning I was goin thru hard day recently and thatch finished up and give it time was the next song on the radio and it made me peek my ears up and take stock of the things that can still Be and not dwell on how things Were. ❤

My first show I finally gave in and boy am I glad I did I won’t probably go on tour but I will definitely see them again probably at the Westville music bowl good job guys great jamming great crowd also
thank you Goose! It is so very cool to live stream these shows. Tickets are in such demand and very very hard to acquire. I am very grateful. PS every show has been scorching... i love the fantastic voyages the band takes each and every night.
One of the best shows I’ve ever heard! Need this on Nugs so I can play on repeat… and repeat and repeat Edit: have since listened to it on repeat… and repeat and repeat. Still an absolute BANGER!
That Labyrinth!! 🫠 So incredible. Also love the kind of Spanish inspired outro jam with Rick and Peter on guitar coming out of So Ready. And dig the new sounds of Give It Time for sure 🪷🎶🪐
For every show, once they break into their first jam, I feel like it’s the soundtrack for the portion of my life between the last show and the one I’m listening to. Comfortably familiar, while being endlessly changing with possibilities. Anyway, love yall!
Oh my that Red Bird! It is a masterclass in group improv, starting in the jam at around 2:02 through end of the song (around 2:12), they seamlessly weave in several keys, modes and vibes. The collective listening is really apparent, and I’m quite struck by how much of that is Cotter. He is constantly reacting to the nuances of the others, while holding the pocket and adding a ton of color. It’s remarkable that they’re playing this tightly in only their third performance together. I’ll withhold hyperbole calling it the GOAT red bird, but it is certainly a contender! However, this is easily the best jam of the show, so if you only watch one song from this, it’s a no brainer.

GIVE IT TIME "Feels like a premonition, the storm behind your eyes. All of the questions, as you lay awake at night. Is this really what I wanted? Will I ever be, anything but a pretender, living inside a dream? Give it time, go ahead, and give it hell. Give it all you've got or give it up for something else. It's a revelation. It's a hallelujah. It's the nature of the spirit running through you. So take it easy, just begin again. Take a step back from the race that you've been running in. It's the next song - coming on the radio. Just when you need it, so turn it up and let it go. Follow the illusion. The fear behind your pride. But come the morning - you’ll remember when to run and when to fight. Is this really what I wanted? Will I ever be, anything but a pretender - living inside a dream? Give it time, go ahead, and give it hell. Give it all you've got or give it up for something else. It's a revelation. It's a hallelujah. It's the nature of the spirit running through you. I think Cotter's addition and the increased volume and presence of Jeff's bass has broken open the creativity of the band. They sound the same but so much more adventurous.
I have a tower computer with a soundblaster sound card with patch cords going to my preamp and amps and it sounds pretty darn amazing. My neighbors love Goose.
That Madhuvan was the BEST they ever played, they cut deeeep on that one, I challenge anyone who sees this comment to suggest a better one, I bet you can’t.
Cotter has totally changed the sound of the band for the worse. Repeated fills, pocket drumming, and simple transitions is not where the Goose flys… They have turned into another sleepy jam band that others can replicate. The pocket drumming is NOT opening up anything for the others. I believe Ben’s creativity, surprise drumming, and technical ability fed into the other members and allowed them to explore their own creativity.
@@d_nasty6479a polyrhythmic upbeat style that many times are contra to what the rest of the band is doing. It creates that signature Goose sound we all love. I would describe pocket drumming as basically the opposite, keeping time and playing off others in the band. That’s why the band’s entire sound has changed for the worse.
I also disagree, I think Cotter is a big reason the jams are better than ever. He's spot on with every change and leads the way down new paths better then Ben ever did.
Just glad to see open discussion. They're human, they make decisions based on the knowledge the have at hand, so it's cool to see a fanbase discuss lineup changes and such. Happy listening folks!
Give It Time made me cry. Clearly a winner!

Oh - and Madhuvan and SOS ✨⚡️🎧💫✨
Such a sick show!! The boys were on 🔥🔥🔥
I was in the balcony for this show. Thatch rocked so hard the balcony was literally shaking. One of the best live music experiences I’ve ever had
I listen to a few jam bands, and right now in their current settings, Goose has the best live tone of any other band jam band right now
For every show, once they break into their first jam, I feel like it’s the soundtrack for the portion of my life between the last show and the one I’m listening to. Comfortably familiar, while being endlessly changing with possibilities. Anyway, love yall!
Wow what a set! You guys keep getting better and better live 🙌

The peak of that song feels so different than anything I’ve heard from them. It’s beautiful.
It's in a single key, but yes, winds dynamically and rhymically to fun jammy space. One single key though, really one mode in one key.
Sitting hear listening again, I just made the same observation prior to reading your comment. You are so spot on.
@@marcthemusicmanjacoby9380 so one key then?
Its the goat rb for sure
GIVE IT TIME HOLY SHIT!!!!!
Give It Time was incredible
hard agree. this is a new fave.
Holy moly give it time is spiritual. Rick you’re songwriting is amazing!!
Rick's been listening to a lot of Peter Gabriel. Hell yeah. "Give it Time" is great. Love you Goose.
and Paul Simon circa Graceland. Cotter gives him the drum vibe/strength to chase that.. He's Rick's Carter Beauford..
New bangers always come from your Cap runs!
Anyone else notice that at 49:08 it just cuts out mid song? Black screen, silence until 52:33 where it picks up mid jam...
Yes, I am also experiencing this.
Yep, that happened during the livestream and we all freaked out
@@fpolanc oh wow, that's crazy!
I’ve listened to a lot of echos Rick sounds really good on this one vocally. Extra passion

What a great band!! 👍🇺🇸🇬🇧
Great show. More compact than I anticipated.
So fucking ready for the Raleigh NC show! ❤❤
Just discovered Goose a few months back. Raleigh is gonna be my first show along with my 23 year old daughter.

New Song 1:02:51
Vasudo tune.
Not gonna lie band sounds better with the new drummer. Rick’s guitar sound seems better to with that new guitar and not using the PRS.
Echo was crazy
What song is playing during the intermission while the tour dates are scrolling? Sounds like a Ted Tapes 2024, but I'm not placing it.
Right at the 2:09 Mark the lights almost looks like a bird flapping it's wings
Wow
Am I the only one that got DRUMS/SPACE vibes at the 2:15 mark? And the too sweet going into the encode
Around 31 .. man they sound so good
My speakers started smoking halfway thru that Echo

6/15/2022 was really something special I rarely hear the band get that dark. This one is definitely great though.
check out the legend valley one from june 19, 2021. madhuvan > MOBY > madhuvan

Good show... New drummer was a bit slow compared to Ben. 🤷♀️ Ijs. It ain't the same.
If you are referring to the tempos, Rick sets those at the beginnings of the tunes for the most part. Cotter locks in and that’s where it stays

No, it's much better. He's a more confident drummer than Disco Beat Ben.
