@@DestroyingSanity yup. I have a new account and the game doesn't let me play multiplayer even though I see players in the lobbies right before I get kicked out. But I do play survival mode and surprisingly there are people who play this mode.
I have all these problems with my new account except the cod4 one it just works normal it's crazy how old cod can handle psn name change or new accounts even the accounts that didn't play these games before 2018 because those have same issues too better than newer ones
From my experience Ghosts, and advanced warfare saves progress yet shuts off the PS3 in every gane mode for no reason. And ive done everything to try and fix it multiple times and it continues to happen. And i highly doubt its my PS3 because other games work completely fine with no issues, like GTA5.
it's not about an account before 2015, but the point is that you have to turn on the multiplayer game before 2015, then for the account itself to work, you don't have to log into the game and it also happens on PC or Xbox, but on PC it's the worst, I have an account from 2013, but on PS4, and I haven't turned on mw2 or bo1 because I had a pirate account on ps3 and now that ps4 has been released I still have a legal ofw console and I came back to it recently and I have bought all the codes that's why I now have a problem with bo1 mw2 and mw3 if it occurs on pc and xbox ps3 then activision should It will be fixed someday, but there is a lot of talk about it, so there is hope
Thanks man, i had recently bought MW3 and Black Ops 2. It hit hard knowing i can atleast play bo2 but im not that sad for mw3 considering i only paid 13 bucks for it.
You have to spam your way i to game sessions, you will have some success with one or two games for like 3-4mins, but you have to level up once, mw3 doesn’t matter when your account is made, it only counts for lvl1 accounts

Same, good thing I had Call of Duty modern warfare 2, black ops and black ops 2. It’s disappointing that a lot of people had this issue and I had these issues when I created my account in 2020.

If you have a account before 2018 your able to play all of the call of duty just fine but if you switch your name or made a new account after 2018 than your fukd so use a account before 2018
And for those with a wireless connection.Another way to do it is go to DN.S settings and change it to 4222 as the primary D.N.S and 4221 as the secondary d.n.s
@re1791 when I tried to boot up the game the ps3 console crashed and when I tried to turn it back on its saying it's corrupted and doing some loading stuff and won't load all the way to 100% just restarting the console again and all because I boot up bo2

You can play online in MW3. Only in Spec Ops Survival Mode, not Multiplayer.

That’s why I bought Xbox so when I play black ops 2 it won’t freeze I had ps3 when black ops 2 come out but I sick of the freezing

Well there is a work Around to fix The MW3 Situation, but you will have to have a Hen/CFW Jailbroken ps3 and download a Tool on PC

It'll save I'm playing the bo1 campaign at the moment, it's only any online modes that won't save progress

I think you're rank gets reset either way because AFIK, had to have played the game before 2017 with that account.
