UPSC Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams in the country. It has three parts, the Prelims exam, the Main exam and the Personality test, which you need to clear in order to become an IAS or IPS officer. All other Group A services of the Government of India recruit people through the UPSC Civil services exam itself and because of this, there is a lot of competition in this exam. Hence, your UPSC preparation should be strategic, informed and well planned.
Your UPSC preparation should not be based on blind adherence to any program. Rather you should give a thought about how your are preparing. The best way to go forward is to study the blogs and tips given by previous year toppers about how to go about UPSC CSE for all three stages of UPSC Prelims, UPSC Mains and the Personality test also known as the UPSC Interview, and then make your UPSC preparation strategy accordingly.
Doing static subjects like polity, economy, environment, geography and history for your UPSC preparation is a solid bet to increase your chances of clearing this exam. But this must all be supplemented by current affairs for best effect.

Folks giving upsc cse should also checkout pyq's of judiciary exams for polity part it would be immensely helpful for them.....
Really?
Konse state ka dekhe?
Bata bhai
@@jordanrodriguez3373 yep! These were straight questions .i mean patent questions...like of writ jurisdiction ,article 226 ,32, art 110 art .179art. ...199 art 93 prorogation...... So on
.in judiciary " this schedule 8 languages questions is so frequent they could have added Rajasthani though Rajasthani is not official language....
Go for questions bank of multiple states judiciary.... predominantly Delhi.... judiciary or .. pyq's of UGC net.law.
... history will remain history and geography will perhaps remain same.......i believe we shall look for UGc net questions also....they are also on analogous stance of this latest Pattern.
Sir last time I got 83. This time getting 68. I somehow just collapsed in those exam conditions this time. Was having difficulty recalling facts. Ended up making stupid mistakes. The 50-50 didn't work in my favour either. I don't know what to do. I feel lost and very embarrassed. The fact that most people did good makes me feel even worse. I don't know what to do. Please guide me
Don't be sad it's ok and now Don't waste time watching many youtube videos and people who are saying that thay performand well but reality is that even some people are feeling good as they think that they have done very good paper but when they check the Paper they end up between 60-70 . One of my friend was telling me that paper was very easy and when he checked the answers ,he got minus 4 😅 so thats why don't listern people they don't know where they stand and start preparing for next years mains examination as time is very less for that also. Have a good day and year ahead and i hope you will clear this examination next year with flying colors
No worries hritvik, it happens with everybody, don't believe on everyone who is saying that paper was good or easy, and there is always a second chance, you can always do better the next time. Focus on what went wrong this time. And take a rest first of all, you deserve a well sounded rest, you did your best and i am proud of you
My condition is exactly the same. Scored 89 last year and this time getting in 60s and here i was thinking that i did my paper really well as i attempted around 95 questions.
Easy bro.. will get better

In delhi the heat wave condition was so bad.. many students couldn't give their best. One of my friend got sick and he vomited. So giving the exam in thode conditions was not easy. I am getting around 82 ...most of the people seems to be in 80-90 category. So cutoff can fall between 80-90 i feel
