I saw "Agrippina" yesterday at Met Opera, and I am totally hooked, thrilled, impressed, amuzed and mesmerized!! Thank you Kate Lindsey and Joyce DiDonato for such a thorough, honest work, sparkiling personality, talent, wit, sense of humor and brilliant singing! I hope to see this opera again, and it would be nice to find a DVD or any other video recording of the whole thing, available for purchase. Muchísimas gracias! :)

You’ll never forget your first opera. Mine was Tosca and to this day, I still have a love-hate relationship with Scarpia and poor Tosca makes me cry. Other operas have gone on to make me cry but your first one is truly memorable

I came unglued watching Kate Lindsey play Nero, the COKE FIEND! She was just amazing, such a reptilian creature, and what a talented mezzo! Chopping up, and dramatically snorting those giant lines of coke on that marble slab was a laugh riot! Opera at its most entertaining.
They're so wonderful in this production--I'm overwhelmed.

Я сегодня ночью видел премьеру Агриппины в кинотеатре в Москве. Великолепный спектакль! Спасибо певцам. Все голоса выдающиеся. Кейт Линдси - поразила, я влюблён.
Аналогичные впечатления от премьеры спектакля и особенно от Кейт Линдси )). Она просто мастер перевоплощения!!! Мы смотрели его сегодня ночью в кинотеатре в Киеве. Хотелось бы найти хорошую запись этой трансляции.
@@olgaivanova9555 Спасибо, что написали. Я до сих пор под огромным впечатлением от её актёрской игры. Пересматриваю доступный в ЮТюбе кусочек с арией Нерона. Не знаю, выложат ли оперу целиком. Я бы тоже пересмотрел. Я жил в Киеве продолжительное время, люблю его всей душой.
@@sonechka100 )) аналогично провела выходные: в поисках доступных записей Кейт. Она великолепна в этом перевоплощении! Жалею, что не записала хотя бы для себя куски ее выступлений, я просто не ожидала такого впечатления. Пока ничего не нашла. Но мы следим за обновлением записей таких концертов, и если найдем запись этого спектакля в хорошем качестве, поделюсь с Вами ссылкой или загружу на файлообменник.
Спасибо за добрые слова о Киеве, раньше он был прекрасен... А я люблю Москву, особенно стырые уютные улочки, бываю часто и отдыхаю душой )

@@olgaivanova9555 Спасибо! ) Хочу только добавить, что почти всегда с неприятием относился к актуализированию классики с упором на секс. Но в этой постановке почти всё было оправдано, не вызывало отторжения и с хорошим чувством юмора. А какая сценография! Я до сих пор под впечатлением.
