I am wondering that you get these speeds with the Orico docking station. I have it too but USB 3 limits the speed a lot.
Just bought it yesterday and i can't say kingston is better.... Hikvision really made a nice standard ssd. My laptop that used to boot up in 5 minutes now took less than 12 second and after startup i can immediately open whatever programs i use... And this laptop is 11 years old man... I3 330m cpu with 310m nvidia 4 gb ram.. that's saying a lot... Ssd really comes a long way it both speed and pricing.. nice video man

@@ninjawarriors2838 Sadly, after 4 years of use and my fault for reformatting it too many times, it finally broke. Now, that being said... If you use the ssd in normal conditions, it could last longer and totally worth the price. I've also battled with unplanned power downs which contributes to the early demise of the hikvision ssd as well.

@@ninjawarriors2838 Yes, it's still working fine until today. But it's not like the newer gen nvme ssd. it's slower than nvme but still fast enough to notice improvements on loading time :D. PS. sorry for the late reply

I bought the 512GB in Novemeber 2020... and it's starting to give issues now. It's move affordable, yes, but I'm going to return it and get a more reputable brand. I've been running a Samsung 850 Evo since August 2015 with no issues.

Question is how reliable it is. In Pakistan its the only option for my laptop (M2, SATA) since all the EVOs are sold out. But I am not sure how long would Hikvision SSD last.
It's been more than a year now, using it everyday in my laptop as main drive, 100% health and no issues whatsoever... Totally worth the price I paid

Which is better Kingston a400 or Hikvision E100. I heard that after Kingston warranty of 3 year it usually start having problem which ssd do you recommend for me to buy?
Both SSDs are entry level SSDs and Theoretically speaking the rated read/write speeds of Hikvision e100 is a little more than Kingston, but I don't suspect any real life differences..
Durability is a question but I don't think so Hikvision is a poor choice since the one I have in under very heavy usage with no faults after more than a year. So I'd say buy one whichever you get a better bargain

@edwinpasuquin3270 It would certainly fit and should last for a long while. I am using this ssd for a long time now, still 100% health, no bad sectors, no crashes or data corruption. I am confident it would last a long time

Does it have dram or slc caching?
It's DRAM-less (SM2258XT). Probably better than the WD Green, as per my experience....
HikVision vs Lexar, I'm confused. Please suggest im 128gb?
Lexar as a brand is overall a bit better than HikVision. I've not used their SSDs but their memory cards are quite good and durable... Possibly, you won't feel a difference between lexar and HikVision SSDs but if the price difference is less, go with Lexar

I haven't used Adata SP580 but this ssd is itself pretty solid! It's entry level ssd with budget price, but Hikvision SSDs are very reliable for day to day usage and even gaming. No problems so far, just happy with these...

Kingston A400 240gb , hikvision E100 256gb, gigbyte 256gb or adata su750 256gb or su800 256gb. need for windows and office and fortnite n few other games.
Hikvision is pretty basic and so is gigabyte.. go for Adata Su800 if you don't have budget issues. It will be worth it. But 256Gb will become very small capacity once you put 1-2 games in it.

Seems fast enough as any SATA SSD.. No difference in real-world usage as compared to some other brands
I bought a 1 To E100 and that never worked well , even for a simple files transfer this ssd taking a lot of time, not recommended

@@StechAnfo i had got HIKVision E100 256gb yesterday for my laptop. I am working on it to clone my HDD and make it bootable with windows 10 pro. You should google and use "Hard Disk Sentinel" to check its detail parameters. It is professional software to check SDD/HDD

Sei não. Mas comprei um desses e o desempenho foi inferior ao da descrição que estava no aliexpress. O meu antigo ssd ( 2 anosem uso ) A400 DA KINGSTON se mostrava bem superior A esse tal Hikvision.
Teoricamente, poderia ser. kingston usa MLC de alta qualidade em comparação com HikVision. além disso, HikVision é apenas uma nota de entrada e de acordo com seu preço, ele tem um bom desempenho, eu acho.

SSD's can run eternity? Are you sure bro. I have heard they have a lifetime of read write cycle and after that they just stops working.
You're right. But practically you can't achieve that TBW while using it for day to day tasks and gaming. However, if you plot chia or do write intensive tasks on an SSD, it will surely consume it's all TBW limit but still that does not mean the SSD is dead. It may work long after that.
