This grew on me to the point it became my favorite scent in my collection with Dior Homme original. I think it's just an everyday, very versatile but very unique scent that I can never get tired of. Lovely review as always Aaron! One of the realest in the game
This is by far my most complimented fragrance, even more than BDC, I will continue to buy it as long as it they sell it. Great for the office, gym, lounging, grabbing a coffee, etc. love it.
Not sure why this doesn’t last long on others. For me personally it lasts a long time and project very well at the beginning and can still easily smell it on myself 7 hour later
@SuperMazin99 people go now blind an whine about performance like it's suppose to be a race car or something lol.. of a fragrance does wear it quickly jist apply more an get a travel decanter an stop crying. And if your too broke to spray more sprays or re apply don't buy it then !
This is one of my biggest compliment getters. When I used to work in an office I got compliments on this everyday! Love it 👌 Performance used to be better in older batches, but need to spray more on your clothes with the newer batches. Been through over 5 bottles of this, just a good safe solid fragrance in my opinion.
I have the entire Chanel AH line up and rotate them in warm months-live near the beach. Edition Blanche is my favorite. They are also my gym scents. Beautifully done and definitely timeless.
I have to say that the quality of your videos have been so great the past year, especially the sound quality. Compared to the other fragrance youtubers, you are the best in terms of production quality.
I’m surprised by the performance experience of others. I get 6-10 hrs (I know that’s a wide range). I actually wear it all season. Favorite in the line
Trust me, girls love this parfume! This is a compliment magnet. Although it has the title "sport" but actually you can wear it for other event like netflix and chill or office, because it's fresh but not "sporty" kinda fresh, it gives sweet trail that makes sexy but still masculine (Not overly sweet which makes diabetes like stronger with you lol). At first I didn't like it when I smelled it on my own skin, but then I smelled it when I was in a closed room and there was a breeze....then boom! Oh boy, I can't stop sniffing myself and my female co-workers love the smell too! On my skin it lasts 8+ with 5 sprays and i'm brown skin lol. So I recommend buying this! Sometimes I believe the nose of the average person around us, they are not perfume experts but they are our daily noses 😂
HEY! I didn't really like the smell bc it feels overpowering, do you find that true? does it take a while to like it? I am not sure how I feel about this perfume
"Don't really get the Extreme thing." YES. I like this scent (and love Chanel men's frags generally) but feel this is a bit overhyped. I get a lot of powdery creamsicle from the opening, so arguably it's Extreme creamsicle.

In the next few weeks I plan on purchasing one of your fragrances I live in the states so any suggestions are welcomed I’m thinking if the two for 1 legend and maverick are still for sale getting those with a 10 ml of animalix.
This scent is what got me into Chanel. I adore it, but I love clean, linen scents as a personal taste. It is not overpowering, it turns into a skin scent in a few hours, and it keeps that "fresh" good smell with me. It is one I reach for when I want to wear a scent, but I don't want to overpower or announce, I just want to keep it casual. I think I love the dry down more than the opening as that tonka/vanilla scent really makes a yummy, clean, not overly sweet, great for cuddling experience, or so I have been told. This one and the 'Blanche' version are my go-to's for causal, clean, and easy going scents.
unless you haven't already, if you want to announce yourself in any room you walk into, try these out: Dior's Sauvage Elixir, Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Coral Fantasy, Bvlgari Man in Black, Paco Rabanne's Invictus Victory Elixir or their 1 Million Parfum, Carolina Herrera's Bad Boy Extreme, Jean Paul Gaultier's Ultra Male and Le Male Le Parfum, and lastly, Versace's Eros Flame.
I find it extremely smooth like a silk sheet. It's extremely well blended and light. A bit boring imo. To me this isn't a fragrance to wear to the club, or for a first date. You wear this when you visit her parents for the first time.
Ima tell y’all some, I can not go anywhere without someone asking me what I have on because people love this. And also it smells even better in the air and leave a serious trail which is a little different on the skin. The Tonka in it make me want to keep smelling it. May signature scent. And i get a good 7 hours out of it.
Thank you for your reviews, teaching, honesty, and coaching on fragrances. And, for not wearing a backward ball cap like so many YT reviewers. I was seriously considering this fragrance, but after testing this for the 3rd time, I thought....man, this really smells familiar. Then it hit me. I dug out my JPG Le Male, today’s formulation of the original, and BINGO. To my nose and my daughter's, this smells a lot like, not exactly, but like a weaker version of that ver. of JPG. So I jumped out on the internet to compare notes and except for pepper... very similar. The Chanel ASXT does not last as long and a little more...ahh, mild? But, not enough to warrant the price. Chanel Bleu edp is a different story completely...love that one. I hope this helps someone. Keep on sniffing.
What about the Tonka bass? That’s what does it for me. Clean and fresh at the beginning with massive projection, then after a few hours it’s got a masculine bass note of tonka that’s really nice. 👍
This is Beast mode for me, lasts 8 hours with 5 hours of noticeable projection, I kid you not, probably got lucky with my bottle concentration. This is no doubt a juvenile sweet scent, this always reminds me of a cocky rich young guy in his 20's, the quality is absolutely excellent, but it doesn't fit a mid 30 guy at a work scenario, this is young, daring and sexy, despite it's "Sport" labeling, it should be used in the Evening at a nice Bar where the Tonka Bean fits really nicely. Overall 8,25 / 10 Superstar Chanel Fragrance.
Its not daring at all in my opinion. Its very safe, very inoffensive and very professional. Dont get me wrong, I love it, but its not the most exciting scent :D
@@leonardmartin6048 Yea it's mass appealing for sure, but what I mean is the Tonka Bean makes it less appropriate for work environment as it gives a bit too much of that 'playful' vibe. Anyways it's one of my best frags in my entire collection, just really high quality scent.

I'm buying it. Your honesty is assuring to a beginner/intermediate like me. Your final thoughts, let's just say thank you. Whenever you say you love something, but wouldn't buy it, that says to me to BUY IT.
I did expect the mark 8/10, also your reaction , because i know you from your videos that you like heavy sweet fragrances . But for me Allure homme sport Eau Extreme is one of my favorite fresh perfumes and yes it smells clean light metallic and that's the purpose of it i think . Brilliant and compliment getter . Thanks for this awesome review i was waiting for it 😊
I sprayed this in Ulta the other day and it lasted all day on my skin. It did settle down into his skin scent after a few hours but it’s Intoxicating. I ordered a bottle.
Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme was the first Chanel that I smelled and really liked. Great review Aaron, thank you :) Hope you had a nice little vacation 🙂
This doesn't stay dry. My boyfriend has it and it dries down to sweet tonka bean. Fortunately I love green fresh fragrances and softly sweet gourmands so I enjoy the whole development. I might try it in myself one of these days.
I like CAHSEE but that's not why I am here. Got my 3rd and 4th 50ml ATH today. I got both Black and Blue Haze and I love them both. Wearing the Black today and I love the orange in it especially because it doesn't disappear after 20 min like many frags with citrus. Another job well done Aaron and looking forward to trying another from you specifically the cherry frag you coming next month if I heard correctly.
Try to put it on your clothes and it will be a beast, trust me this is one of a few fragances I know that will work only on clothes, on skin it will have poor longevity, indeed on clothes it does its best
Also you said you aren't liking it as you have your skin pressed to your nose but this fragrance is only magical in the air. It doesn't smell the same when you press it to your nose. You gotta let the magic shine in the air.
I love this one. It lasts maybe 6 hrs on me, not great but I love the scent. Up close I do get that metallic scent but when my nose isn’t right in it I really just get a powdery Tonka and I love it!
Kinda off topic but my friend and I like to smoke weed and smell fragrances. When we smell them while being high, the fragrances smell different. They smell like an extreme version of themselves and smell amazing. My fav fragrance to smell is ADG Essenza. The floral notes are enhanced and it’s the most amazing perfume to smell while being high. It smells like cocaine, blood, and a female skin. 😅 Do you smoke Aaron? Why do you think fragrances and notes smell different with THC? Sometimes I pick up on notes or certain details I didn’t know where present and helps me understand the fragrance a bit more.
Great review. I own this and I love it as an alternative to Blue which is my grab and go. More when I want to feel super clean and Citrus. The dry down is where it shines as it becomes a great daytime easy wearing low key bomb waiting for someone to come close. Then wham!. It's the radiating off my skin but close...all year daytime for me.
Great review! Always spot on with the details of perfume ingredients, liquid to price range value and fair subjective performance analysis, aka silage / longevity based on skin type etc. it’s so refreshing to hear RUclips reviews from a qualified professional like yourself. I myself have very fair / sensitive skin and like many of the comments on this post find formulations like this to last a long time and project off the skin for a good 5-7 hours. I bought the original allure way back in the day, I think it was on release month and got monster performance and compliments for as long as the bottle lasted. I’ve just bought this last week and although I love it, like many other perfumes at the moment, they don’t last no where near as long as they used to when first released under the original formulation. A big one for me is bulgari aqua. That’s my 10year + daily scent but my last bottle I bought in October 22 was so weak I could hardly smell it on myself even after 15 sprays. Lol. But I love the smell of it. So, as a trained fragrance producer, what is the reason why so many big designer brands end up in a cycle of constant re formulation and dilution from their original product. ? Is it just them trying to keep a steady msrp over the years so they mitigate rising ingredient costs by diluting the liquid . ? I guess the big example here is creed aventus. I myself can’t understanding why they do this. When you can get amazing performance from signature fragrances like Tom ford ombré leather edt, that can out perform almost half of more expensive perfumes, including ones made by themselves, and still keep the price relatively competitive. I’d love to hear your take on all this as a professional. 👌
Got a sample of this parfume in a store and loved it. Went and bought a bottle, but found out it was noticeably different. Later I found out that the bottle I got a sample from was from 2017 and the one I bought was from 2024. I would describe the new one as more airy, dry and metallic with more emphasis on the citrus from the mandarin. Not as Tonka Bean heavy, less sweet and doesn't have as much body as the old one. Personally I don't like the smell of my new bottle as much as the sample from the old one, but I'm sure some people will prefer the new one. Just something to watch out for.
I love it, been through 3 bottles over the last 5 years but as with all the Allure scents, the performance isn't great on me which is a shame.....beautiful scent!
Essence Vault fragrences. They are not ifra compliant, (probably why their fragrences are numbered to avoid copyright). They smell so strong they reminds me how beast mode most scents were in the 90s. Their clone of Fing Fabulous lasts for days.
@@andym28 Yeah i’m not saying they don’t exist. The joke is why would it be a category in every single video if every fragrance he reviews is compliant.
Great review, I just picked up a 50ml of this, will be more of a work/office fragrance for me, but I feel this will work very well in the spring/summer as well.
One of the best Allures, I like the edition blanche better, but I love the complete line. Buy the 150 ml bottles because this one needs extra sprays to last and to topup. Is tonkabeen addictive ? Lol
Nice review Aaron, another great video I enjoyed. I love Chanel as a house but I limit myself to Platinum Egoiste and then Gabrielle for my girlfriend. Nothing else appeals to my nose.
Your taste is exactly the opposite of mine, i really love this one, one of my favorite everrrr, I enjoy it so much and never get bored from the smell, literally it's my top 1 even tho i have lots of niche expensive perfumes
sounds like your describing the original allure homme sport. The extreme version is heavy on the tonka bean and is much sweeter. could do a side by side comparison like with your aventus v aventus cologne video. to compare the two.
Will need to drop ¥18,600 on this (what it costs at Chanel here in Tokyo,). I tried this when I bought a new bottle of Bleu de Chanel EdP last week; but should I drop the cash on it after the performance comments….. Smells incredible in any case.
When i first starting using this I initially believed the performance was pathetic compared to when I tried it in store. But by the 7th occasion it started coming across stronger and I was surprised. The next day I used it an was again stronger still and I was like...WTF. I'm currently happy with the performance, and yet slightly confused as to what happened. I might suffer from reverse nose blindness lol.
My favorite Chanel period! It's very creamy almond/tonka mixed with freshness. Quality=Chanel. ABOUT performance IT'S STRAIGHT POWER BOMB! Easily 12h and one week on clothes! People who don't get performance from it they got a fake.
I have a bottle in Australia for 100ml I paid $190 AUD , it's very hyped but after owning it for over a year, it is a bit over hyped but it's nice all Chanel frags are but even BDC EDP, the longevity lacks compared to Dior Sauvage or YSL EDP. But it does make me feel confident and I get about 5 hours off it, so not bad.
Hi Aaron, first of all I love your reviews you’re basically my go to reviewer for fragrances right now. I was wondering if you could maybe review Dior Eau Sauvage edt or edp. Im really curious to hear what your thoughts are on such a classic and iconic mens perfume in todays market
I own 3, maybe I can help. The EDT mine is from around 2016: Quite Old stylish and a bit acid citric. Fairly good performance for a Summer Fragrance. For this type of fragrances I prefer Aqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta. Parfum: Mine is from 2019. Dense (cloying) sweeter version. This might be an attempt to outperform the Great Floris 89. Mine is a modern (2010) version from the 1951 Classic. But it also leans toward Guerlain Habit Rouge style. Here the citrus is better than in the EDT. Not acid. Great performance. Maybe too sweet for Summer (day) But can be used from Spring up and including Fall. In this style, Floris 89 is my favoriete. But both Eau Sauvage Parfum and Habit Rouge are great fragrances. A year ago I bought the Extreme Black bottle. Very much against most of the reviews, this is the version I love most. It has basically the same great scent as the Parfum, but is far lesser cloying. It is more in balance. Performance is lesser for me, but I have a bad nose. That is the one I advise, as for the other 2, there are better alternatives.
He reviewed those a long time ago. He layered them with his animalix creation as they were too safe, too boring. This was a long time ago, maybe he could review them again.
I don’t know what to order between Armani Code Parfum , Prada Luna Rosa Carbon OR Allure Homme sport Eau Extreme somebody help I want the best out the 3
"Carnal character..." and then flashes a look like, "honest, teach! It wasn't me, it was them letters!" It think the top and the middle is gorgeous and the dry-down is a bit bland. Thought you'd call it a bit too safe and linear. I guess it's not entirely linear, but the way in which it changes is how the lovely bits drop out. This is one fragrance I'd love to see a long lasting super-linear version of. Aside from reviews, I think it would be nice if you could cover skin types a bit. Which kinds there are, how one can deduce which ones you have and how to incorporate it with choosing fragrances. Would need loads of moving hands for illustrative purposes.
Awesome review mate 👍🏼 ur reaction def toned down from that time u smelled it with Fragmental 😂 I don’t hate this frag, but I don’t like it either…something about it that irritates my nose in the top note specifically..used to wear it for the gym..tried to like it several times but just couldn’t get my head around it. I like AHS much more but still wouldn’t call it a fav On the other hand the 2 Chanel Frags that I love are: 1- Platinum Egoiste (I really wish this was a beast mode frag) 2- BDC Edp - Though kinda basic, I just feel joy and confidence when I put this on
I’m confused as to the marketing behind this perfume. They have an allure sport, which lacks in projection and performance then they release an extreme of the same fragrance that has the exact same issues. What was the point? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I like everything about it for summer but in that price point longevity is annoyin...if i pay 100 on a frag at least i wanna smell it on myself for a while
I love seeing your reviews and opinions from a professional, technical point of view Aaron. However, with this one I just partially agree. It has the airy, metallic chanel thing going on and I also see the dryness here. I also get almost a salty character. But I feel like it is contrasted with a heavy, sweet, creamy base. This lasts quite a while on me and projects very well. My colleague used to wear it and I could smell it the whole day on him.

I know what you mean. My taste buds are affected when using thc as well. Good times 😊
I own da original allure homme sport which is a blessing😍😍... excited to try da eau extreme version too as I heard its more sexier
Aaron! Wow! Excellent review! Dropping wisdom! Thank you so much! ❤️
Been waiting on your take on this one for a while thanks. Nice tan BTW
Great review again 👍👌 it's about time we have some Ethyl maltol whipping through the base asap.. miss the hand action 🦄👋👐
Great, professional review as ever. Looking really healthy and well Aaron.
Didn't think you'd be a big fan of this one. Love what you've done with your look by the way!
Could you please review Versace Dylan Blue. I say that just cos I thinks it's fantastic value when in offer x
i’d really like to see some reviews of unsafe and non compliant fragrances
Essence Vault fragrences. They are not ifra compliant, (probably why their fragrences are numbered to avoid copyright). They smell so strong they reminds me how beast mode most scents were in the 90s. Their clone of Fing Fabulous lasts for days.
@@andym28 Yeah i’m not saying they don’t exist. The joke is why would it be a category in every single video if every fragrance he reviews is compliant.
Great review, I just picked up a 50ml of this, will be more of a work/office fragrance for me, but I feel this will work very well in the spring/summer as well.
Your awesome 👏 and honest, love the way you do your tai chi hand moves!
Hey Aron,
Great review.. great tan to 🌞🌞
I love your reviews Aaron because I feel as though we have similar preferences. Compels me to save up for one of your fragrances!
One of the best Allures, I like the edition blanche better, but I love the complete line. Buy the 150 ml bottles because this one needs extra sprays to last and to topup. Is tonkabeen addictive ? Lol
I love the Chanel allure home sport version more 🥺 pleasant review!!!!
Your thumbnails are super accurate previews of your impression
As always I appreciate your perfumer’s review, I actually believe the “extreme” fits the scent if you followed the Chanel’s allure homme line.
Nice review Aaron, another great video I enjoyed. I love Chanel as a house but I limit myself to Platinum Egoiste and then Gabrielle for my girlfriend. Nothing else appeals to my nose.
have the 5oz bottle. loveeeee the mint in it. one of my favs for sure. blue de chanel is fire but allure extreme is the 1
I really enjoy this one, thanks for the review 😃👍
Can you please review jaguar red and jaguar amber . Never saw you review a cheapie but jaguar really punch above their weight .
Been waiting for your review! It’s been hyped a lot so thank you for your insight. How does this compare to its predecessor Allure Homme Sport though?
When i first starting using this I initially believed the performance was pathetic compared to when I tried it in store. But by the 7th occasion it started coming across stronger and I was surprised. The next day I used it an was again stronger still and I was like...WTF. I'm currently happy with the performance, and yet slightly confused as to what happened. I might suffer from reverse nose blindness lol.
Maybe it matured as you introduced oxygen to the bottle
My favorite Chanel period! It's very creamy almond/tonka mixed with freshness. Quality=Chanel. ABOUT performance IT'S STRAIGHT POWER BOMB! Easily 12h and one week on clothes! People who don't get performance from it they got a fake.
You're full of s...
Have wanted to try this one for a while.
Thanks Aaron.
Great reviews Aaron! Whats the brand of those gray tshirts? On point
Thank you for your opinion on one of my favorite scents. some suggestions for your next videos, oud noir by versace or rochas moustache
✌🏼
Give Tuscan Leather Intense by TF a try! It’s an amazing twist on the very loved Tuscan leather which you said you absolutely loved.
Funny, I thought you already reviewed this. I think you said its "fast and sporty" maybe it was on FM's chanel you did it on 🤔 great review as always!
I think the extreme was because like you said, its sporty
this fragrance actually almost started fights at a wedding, married women dancing around me purely because i was wearing this fragrance.
I’m going to purchase a bottle after this comment cheers !
@@grantdavenport7904 how do you like it?
@@cole4249 haven’t got it yet bought Valentino Uomo
@@grantdavenport7904 that’s a good one too 👌🏻 I have the old version
@@cole4249 smells great this will be my next purchase and Lina rossa black
I don’t know what to order between Armani Code Parfum , Prada Luna Rosa Carbon OR Allure Homme sport Eau Extreme somebody help I want the best out the 3
No doubt get Chanel allure homme sport eau extreme! Sporty class and so so elegant
"Carnal character..." and then flashes a look like, "honest, teach! It wasn't me, it was them letters!"
It think the top and the middle is gorgeous and the dry-down is a bit bland.
I like AHS much more but still wouldn’t call it a fav
On the other hand the 2 Chanel Frags that I love are:
1- Platinum Egoiste (I really wish this was a beast mode frag)
2- BDC Edp - Though kinda basic, I just feel joy and confidence when I put this on
I’m confused as to the marketing behind this perfume. They have an allure sport, which lacks in projection and performance then they release an extreme of the same fragrance that has the exact same issues. What was the point? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
About that hot iron musk - I've just sold my PdM Galloway which is 90% of that hot iron musk, dry, harsh pepper and undescribable citruses
Hey Aaron
What about the review of Tom Ford - beau de jour? Still waiting for it.
Good on
ya mate all the best from Melbourne Australia..!!
Honest, enlightening review as always. Thank you
Another informative and great review! 👍
I like everything about it for summer but in that price point longevity is annoyin...if i pay 100 on a frag at least i wanna smell it on myself for a while
Best allure is Edition Blanche. I only wish it lasted more than 3h of projection and another 3 of being a skin scent.
Solid review. Also, you’re looking RUGGED Aaron. The tan, the beard, growin the hair a little longer. keep doing whatever you’re doing.
Great to see someone that talks the truth, it’s a really nice fragrance but it’s not worth the money for the performance it has.
I have 4 allure hommes.
And still my favourite is the Classic Allure Homme. It's so versatile. My #2 fav is Blanche. Top 3 is Sport. And my least favourite is this sport extreme.
Pleasant good day bro. Chanel is great house. Good review as Always. Chanel is top brand.
Aaron there is one fragrance Lacoste Magnetic, which i think is a hidden gem. The dry down is out of this world
