A Day in the life of a Viking: Festival reenact lives of warriors

Have you ever wanted to live your life like a Viking? These reenactors recreated a historic battle between Vikings and the Anglo-Saxons at the Flag Fen Archaeology Park in east England. Along with the performance, the park held a festival where participants got to recreate the life of a Viking, including cooking and blacksmithing.

Well, there was I thinking they were responsible for lots of raping and pillaging, and other atrocities when they invaded the British Isles. They're hardly something to be celebrating, imo.
