I thought Chat Pile couldn't get any cooler but I guess I was wrong. Literally what other band posts tabs for their own songs damn songs. You and your band are amazing keep it up.
That's just impressive, thanks a lot! Some of what you do on this is opening up a lot of ideas on what to do on a guitar for me. PS! Come to Europe, we dare you!
i have my distortion on (suhr riot) and the chorus and reverb on (memory boy and hall of fame). there is some layering there as well so it'll be hard to mimic with one guitar but i improvise that noise stuff every time i play it live so i'd say just play something noisy that sounds cool to you there lol
Very cool that you are doing this, Luther. Drop A is a rad tuning. Have you considered augmenting this tuning by adding a high E string? (Yes it would involve a 7 string and we can make more Korn jokes) but I find that AEADF#BE allows room for even more converge/botch goodness. I tried it the other day and it ruled. So essentially it’s like a treating a 7 string as a six string baritone with an extra high string instead of a standard six string with an extra low string. Curious to know what your thoughts are.
This is what I've been telling people for years as the perfect way to get into 7 strings. The major third moves to the 'correct' position relative to where most people get their 'reference' which is the lowest string. Most people experimenting with low tunings just want to be able to play shit they know but lower, and this makes the chords correct without having to compensate a semitone on one string.
@@eltipo6651 I've played that config before on someone else's 7 string but sadly I just hate the feel of 7 and 8 string guitars -- baritone 6 string all the way imo!
@@luther.manholeoh for sure, I feel ya on how it feels. It’s def easy to get lost. I prefer the feel of a six string baritone any day of the week! It’s a shame that it’s hard to find a six string baritone that isn’t a djent stick. I personally love the neck pickup on a telecaster to get that twang/young widows tone, so once I just ordered a baritone neck from warmoth. I was lucky enough to find a two Gibson baritone Les Pauls on reverb. They rule. They are hard to come by but worth ruining your credit and being in debt forever over ;) I was actually surprised by how twangy the LTD EC-1000 baritone (Les Paul shape) can sound if the neck fishman pickup is used using “voice 2”. Sounds very much like a tele! It definitely has that chat pile twang!
@@GhostshipPart1 scale length, the neck is longer on a baritone guitar. it makes it so lower tunings have more tension and stay in tune better. the standard tuning on a baritone is BEADF#B.
can you post a tutorial on how to beat the final boss in grim fandango
absolutely need one of these for funny man.

Was this by chance inspired by Deftones? That main riff definitely reminds me of them
FUCK YES
What’s the difference between a baritone guitar and a regular one?
