Being able to take the key out is such a nice feature. I park my truck in a bad neighborhood so I like to leave lights and music on as if I am sleeping in the truck overnight but I've always worried about it getting stolen. Now that I can take the key out and still leave some lights on it's such a relief.
Matt I'm a fellow Roehl driver. Need some help. I have this exact truck and when I use the No Idle Heat function in the bunk, it just blows cold air even when I have it cranked all the way up. The auto start stop works fine but I'm freezing when it's off now that it's getting cold out.
This actually really helped. I'm on a brand new 2020 International LT and woke up freezing this morning. This helped me know how to keep the truck warm all night.
A few times after the batteries were depleted, my engine would start and recharge the battery, but for some reason the engine does not come to life after the batteries are depleted do you have a solution?
Dude … I just spent my first night in my international LT and woke up to a low battery and needing a jump! The OM doesn’t explain it at all…This is gonna save me so much hassle! Thanks bro👊
I have a 2018 and sometimes after I start the truck it either shuts off of tries to shut off. Couple days ago it derated to 5 mph with 3/4 tank DEF. I stopped for a few minutes and worked fine after. Any ideas??
Currently having a problem with my auto start on my 19 a26... light flicks on and off every time I enable it.. do you need to keep key out for it to work... also do you flip “sleeper auto climate l” switch up or down
2016 international low air pressure buzzer keeps going off when autostart is enabled Will not stop buzzing. Tried the trick with panel button and the dash button silences when key is on but when I put the key in position for auto start back to buzzing ...again
My engine won't start doing the auto start and it blinks green on the switch and ,I would have to leave my 🚛 truck running all night because I have a 3.1 fridge.
I have a 2020 i was able to disengage the ACC and still have my cruise control, duct tape and aluminum foil what you do is go to the front bumper and you will see the black sensor box, go 1/2 inch from bottom up and tape it, when you start driving it will say sensor blocked give it a few miles and you can use your cruise and if you turn off and on your truck the process starts over
Directions: put truck in neutral, pull both red and yellow parking brakes. Take foot off the brake pedal. Push yellow in while red is still applied(out). Push cruise control on button once. Press and hold set. While holding set pull yellow parking brake out. Engine Throttle should pop up on the screen.
I have a 2018 LT and it does not have a auto start and stop button at all where yours is located in the front dashboard and there is no auto start and stop button in the sleeper cab either. I have to constantly in the middle of my sleep get up and start the truck for about 45 minutes giving enough juice to my inverter before it makes that annoying loud beep.
Poor design eventually auto start wont kick on even if its engaged. Your ac will turn off and the truck wont start. Been to the shop multiple times. Garbage design !!!

I'm leasing a 2024 lonestar not to crazy about the auto start. Because I'm use to thermal king. Does the engine wake you up?
Thanks man. Just got my 19 international today and I couldn’t figure it out for the heck of me. Thanks this helps alot
Stay in mines for hours trying to crack the code
Great video, your tip worked for me.
At what voltage does the truck have to drop to in order to auto start and recharge?
I didn't even see the auto start/stop button until I looked behind the Qualcomm. Ty so much! I just got this truck a few hrs ago...
I have the exact same truck but I don’t have the auto start/stop switch
Terry Dotson I don’t have that either. So how does that work?
You drive for Roehl?
My problem is trying to override the shut of engine after idling for five minutes.. I need it to idle..
Have you ever had any trouble with the security alarm keep coming on 2019 lt
GREAT! SO HAPPY TO SEE THANKSSSSSS😆😅😂🤣 I WAS FREEZING HAD NO IDEA HOW THIS WORKED

David Green I have a 2020 too and I have never seen an auto start switch.
@@petemycek9909, I don't know what to say, man. Must not be on every truck then.
My 2020 international LT works but 6-8hrs in its like it shuts off and I'm left with a dead truck. Thank goodness I can jump it with the reefer unit.
@@petemycek9909 it has to be ordered with the truck some companys are so cheap they don't care enough to get that feature
Does your auto climate button need to be engaged for the truck to start with the auto atart.

It worked for me how long does it stay on

Hi, how are you able to pull the key out in the off position? I can't do that, my key is always one more position to the right.

Does your blower motor stay on while the auto start is on? no matter what I do I can't get the blower motor to turn off while auto start is engaged.
On another note, what is your review of the truck? Has it been reliable?
Thanks you're awesome need people like you

How long until the engine cuts on🥵🥵🥵
This video is greatly appreciated
Thank you for the information, I needed it.
How do you keep the truck running
My international don’t have that button
Thanks for the help brother
I thought you only had 30 seconds after shutting down the engine to engage the auto start, thanks for the info 🙂👍
My sleeper has no auto start and stop button. I have to constantly get up and start the truck from the front.
Thx Matt‼🙏😁
TaNnYa
Not a problem. Hope it helped you out!
Would u happen to know where the ambient air sensor is? If u can make a video exactly where it's at, if u do happen to know where at?
Thanks a lot! Thanks just fix my problem
Thanx for the info. Have you learned how to disable the annoying beeping sound when your approaching the car in front of you?

Is there a way to stop the truck from automatically turning off awhile idling, OTHER THAN raving the engine RPM up?
Directions: put truck in neutral, pull both red and yellow parking brakes. Take foot off the brake pedal. Push yellow in while red is still applied(out). Push cruise control on button once. Press and hold set. While holding set pull yellow parking brake out. Engine Throttle should pop up on the screen.
I don't have that button in my 2020 international 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Once the batteries need to be charged, it will turn on. Sometimes if it doesn’t need to start it won’t.

The auto start/stop auxiliary bunk heater is such a piece of garbage!
My international dies not have that
Good stuff

Poor design eventually auto start wont kick on even if its engaged. Your ac will turn off and the truck wont start. Been to the shop multiple times. Garbage design !!!
There is nothing good about this truck. Got tired of being on Peterbilts. Refuse to be on Freightliners ever again. Volvos are not an option.
You didn’t mention Kenworth.
Try Walmart, they need greeters
Yea these clowns wearing flip flops making us look bad
You literally just don’t know how much you helped me rn 😂🥹
The Auto start/stop system is SHIT
