Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas Day 2 - First time I witnessed pier runners in real life!

- Thanks for coming along on my cruise. Today is Day 2 on my 4 day Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas cruise sailing out of Port Miami and going to Nassau and Perfect Day at Coco Cay.
Today we port in Nassau. We decided to go into the port today to get the free Effy Charm, the visit the Pirates Republic Bar, and discovered there is a McDonalds in Nassau.
Once back on the ship, we watched the Anchors Aweigh it is elegant night, so of course I had to wear the duck shirt. I went ice skating, the tried to watch the water show but it was rained out, and ended the night with the comedy show.

Appreciate the video, we will be on the Allure in November. Pier runners are always a lot of fun to watch. We have enjoyed Nassau, the new port is nice. We have also done our own walking tour around the city. Usually refrain from alcohol off the ship, considering we buy the drink package on board. However did stop into the brewery once as well. Happy sailing. 🛳️
I've always hoped to see Pier Runners, but it finally happened! I was so excited, probably more than I should have been.
That whole thing about the passenger wanting a refund because no slides on board is hilarious but really that person should've done their research before hand. Plus Allure was supposed to be refurbished with the slides including ultimate abyss but the covid shutdown pushed back to 2025.
We joked about it the whole cruise.

It was awesome! The only downside is it has not had it's update so there are no "tube slides" on this ship. But that didn't bother me, there is still a lot to do.
