I am very impressed with mine. I comped with it shortly after getting it with only injora wheels and tires. This will outperform small scale axials any day with similar price point. I had the same problem with my shift servo, I messed with the channel 3 trim and it fixed it right up. Great video!
Thank you for the tip. I'm gonna have to play with that. I am very impressed how well this thing performed out of the box. I'm debating on buying another rock van also!! Thanks for watching!
There's a video titled "fixing the one flaw on the T-Hunter" that lets you tilt the back of the body up high to access the inside. You remove 6 of the 8 screws to do this. You can leave 4 of them out and either put pins in the back screw holes or just put those 2 screws back in when your done working on it. Right now I'm just putting those 2 screws back in as I haven't found any clips that work well to replace them.
There even some gearboxes the splines fall off between the gears. Some fix the gear problem with a longer servo arm.i like my EVO forester but i like my non EVO Hunter/Rock Van even! I am not using second gear often but i like the bigger motor! Maybe a lower gearing (small pinion) make second gear offroad more usabel.
Sorry to hear that. The grinding in mine would come and go. I'm not a fan of the layout of this truck and the fact that it's kind of a pain to work on. I ended up selling it.
