Apparently you can go into the system via the display and adjust/fine tune the powers levels (eg level one down from 45% to about 20%) which would help with the problem you had. Maybe try that & report back?

Ich schätze du redest über das erste Video auf dem Kanal. Kann man doch ganz leicht testen? Nimm n labornetzteil oder n 3x AA Batteriehalter oder was du auch immer hast, schalter und n Spannungsmessgerät und teste es einfach aus. Probier einfach aus und gib nich auf, du bekommst die schaltung safe hin. :)
Yeah these pas sensors measuring only the rpm of the pedals feel weird on slow speed. Not an as premium-feeling like a bosch ebike torque sensor but good enough for most situations. Nice bike
What comes to mind would be an additional sensor that detects what gear you are in so the motor controller can adjust the torque at slow speed. Might be cheaper than a whole torque sensor. Additionally, more magnets could bring down the delay between stopping pedaling and the motor controller still giving power.
jupp that would def be already a better solution. Could also be annoying when you are in the wrong gear on a hill and the ebikes gives you only very little torque

Himiway hat ansich ganz schöne Sachen, gerade auch der Cruiser, aber bezüglich der Controller sind sie im Nimmerland. So ein reiner Cadencesensor muss ja nicht schlecht sein, aber man muss halt wirklich in der Lage sein, über die Stufen die Power zu steuern und nicht die Endgeschwindigkeit. Verstehe nicht, warum sie diesen Weg gehen. Wie du schon sagst, die ganze muss insgesamt smoother ablaufen, aber das zu programmieren, ist ein Kinderspiel.

11:45 Ich habe mir ein günstiges Bike 1599 Teuronen mit Boschantrieb geholt dazu ein VOLspeed V3 und bin mit dem Paket sehr zufrieden. Ja das Bike hat kleine 500W Power aber lässt mich so schneller als 25kmh fahren. Viel schneller als 40kmh erfodert dennoch viel Eigenleistung aber das ist absolut ok! xD
ja man. Ist viel cooles passiert mit arbeit und studium über die letzten jahre. Ich hab seit paar wochen erstmal keine beruflichen projekte mehr und sollte daher neben dem studium wieder bissl videos machen können :)
at the end you need a service and warranty ... regardless if 1300€ is cheap or not. I got a 1 year old german built S-pedelec for less and send the battery in for an unpgrade to get twice the range for 400€ on top. On top it is 20 kg and a slim style where you can not see that it is an ebike cause the removeable battery is integrated in the frame. I can not complain ... Hope to see some builts ... cause reviews are no longer of interest. If things go wrong it is my money that has been burned ... and I do not like all the power oak bluettis power units that were given away for free to youtubers that make a video about it to sell more units to customers ... It is a business where both sides make money of it or benefit - and I do not wanna pay for that anymore.
sure, but you can either buy a mid drive system where you'll end up running to your local bike shop or fix your bike at home every 1000Km and change the chain. Or buy a hubdrive and propably dont have to do any maintenance for 20x the distance. Who cares if you have great support from your bikeshop if you have to go there every few weeks...
both have their place mid is better for steep hills at the same power but has more wear. hub has less wear but is worse for steep hills and weight balance it is always a trade off
yeah thought about that too. But to have a nice PAS ebike then, I would have to come up with my own ebike controller and PAS system wich is a ton of work even for a prototype
Es ist halt ein veraltetes E-Bike mit low end technik. Wenn e-bike, dann lieber etwas mehr ausgeben und was ordentliches. Ansonsten hat man mehr spass mit einem Bio-Trekking oder Gravel Rad

With pedal-assist only, I wouldn't want this bike. Does it offer a normal throttle mode where you can just control that with the twist grip?

Das ist ein ganz simples 26“ Rad, einfach entsprechende Reifen kaufen und fertig.

Just swap out the controller and most of those problems will be solved. (except the problem with German ebike laws).

selbst teure haben die exakt selbe technik dahinter. Die Mittelmotoren sind technisch auch nicht weiter entwickelt als das hier.
@@Pryside naja drehmomentsensor ist eine extreme weiterentwicklung im vergleich zu dem teil aber ich denke wenn mans gewöhnt ist ists denke ok
