The Loner (October 2, 1965)

In "The Lonely Calico Queen", Colton comes upon a bounty hunter, who had just killed his quarry. Colton finds a letter the quarry was carrying, addressed to an Angie. He arrives in town and finds Angie, only to be mistaken by her (and others) as being the author of the letter. Things get more complicated when the bounty hunter shows up, boasting of his recent killing of the actual letter writer. Jeanne Cooper ("The Young and the Restless") guest stars.
