Ah yes that time I visited Dotonbori in Osaka Japan. A man jumping fly kicked people off motorcycles then punched and kicked to destroy a pickup truck to fight a member of the Yakuza right afterwards. Such fond memories.
OH THE GOLDEN MEMORIES! This takes me way back! I had a good old time playing this in the arcade when I was a kid, and the part where I had to fight the truck with the dudes in it was mind blowing. Had it not been for this video's thumbnail pic (showing Ryu punching the truck) I never would have recognized the game in the video at all lol. Games were GAMES back then, they sure were something smh, - geez look at me...I am talking like a grandpa over here lol. Anyway, thank you AL82! You definitely got my 👍 vote!
I totally get you. Nowadays, games are cool and everything, but they are somehow so much more than games. All of them have intricate plots, well-paced stories and whatnot, and they are great; but sometimes I miss when games were just games, as you say, and everything you had to do was grab the controller and mash the buttons. Yes, I suppose we are growing old...
This is a very awesome game I love when u can break objects and when u can go in the stores.it looks so fun to punch and kick too. I love the Japan setting. I like the first and last name characters all the main character are cool too. The first boss reminds me of muscle power.
I noticed characters have birth dates, but I never knew that there were "constellations" next to their birth dates, which I believe would be zodiac signs.
I was lucky to play this game when I was a kid. I remember I chose Ryu, and my brother played as Billy. Something odd was going on with the credit counter: we inserted a single 100 pesetas (0.60 current euros) coin, which would normally have allowed for 2 credits for each one of us; but we died once and once again, and the game would just let us continue all the times we wanted. Eventually, the arcade cabinet which was next to us (Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder, great game!) went vacant, so we just stopped playing Burning Fight and moved to Golden Axe. Sometimes I wonder if we would have just beaten the game if we had kept playing.
Me and my brother played this when we were kids! He'd always choose Ryu and I'd choose Duke or Billy. We'd have lots of fun but we'd always end up beating each other's ass for a bit before going back fighting the criminals lol. Good ol' times.
This feels like a game you would have dreamed up in a fever dream as a kid in the 90s. And of course it wouldn't be a proper beat em up from the 90s without an "on top of a speeding train" level 😂
The music in that first stage sounds like something I've heard before. From a movie I think. I'm pretty sure it's the end of Drunken Master II that I'm thinking of but I'm not certain. Even if that is the case, this game is apparently older than that movie anyway. They should make more games like this nowadays..
13:52 That's blatantly based on a real song, used in advertising all the time. Anyone know what it's called? If they released this game on a virtual download they would probably have to remove it.
Compared to final fighter or Streets of Rage I thought this game would look a lot better but it don't. This game look like and early 16 bit beatem up Neo geo was capable of putting out amazing arcade. Pass on this one
To be fair it's possible (and a regular occurrence unless you're very good) to get stun-locked and beat down in Final Fight as well. And if you're unfortunate enough to be near an Andore when that happens he'll then jump into the air and come crashing down on you to add more injury.
It looks good but honestly doesn't play that great. It lacks the super slick and addictive gameplay of its Final Fight model. The character design is a bit bland as well and the music generic and uninspired. Not a bad game by any means but definitely not a great one.
Sorry but burning fight is rubbish. I love the neo Geo and scrolling brawlers but this is far behind streets of rage 2 on the megadrive and the arcade version of final fight.

I don't know how much they're paying these gang members, but the second I saw somebody cripple a pickup truck with their bare hands I'd be out, lol.
You haven’t lived until you’ve tried French fries from a freshly smashed garbage can in japan.
I remember playing this when the Neo Geo was still a novelty at the arcade. Didn’t get too far as needed a lot more time and quarters.
SNK always evoke good memories from the childhood
The legendary wrestler Tom Anderson
Yep, we know Who that Character is really supposed to be based off of; And No, It's Not Arn Anderson....
Legendary? Maybe in USA...
Bulk Bogan

ファイナルファイトってとんでもない名作だったんだな
The Hans Zimmer "Black Rain" influence on the soundtrack is undeniable, but it just makes this game that much more awesome.
Used to play this at Putt Putt Golf in the 90's. Thanks for the nostalgia.
ah the good ok days of fighting crime as mike hagger, guy and … wait this isn’t final fight?
That Neo Geo opening with the Intro music is perfection.

@Armor King - Try out "64th street"
Music is even better, can't believe it was done in 1991
I noticed characters have birth dates, but I never knew that there were "constellations" next to their birth dates, which I believe would be zodiac signs.
It's the " Final Fight " SNK !
But better

Wat. Leaving a free arcade machine? :(
This happened to me with Windjammers. We played 99 credits with a friend.
This looks and sounds good i need to add it to my collection
Si vede la potenza del neo geo.giocato molto bene.gran gioco
27:04 Your finishing pose did not go unnoticed.
Nice Choice
Never heared of this one, eventhough I'm a sidescrolling beat'm up guy 🤔 will have to check it out, looks fun!
Was that Hulk Hogan for the 2nd boss fight? Cool.

Good job as always.

Physics look well even in 2021
can't believe I once played through this
The streets of Hong Kong in 1980’s. Jean Claude Van Damme is under one of those alleys participating in bloodsport.
Makes me wonder why they wont make games like this today . ?
The ending should include a trail of angry shop owners with itemized damage bills.
Even had a history, bha!
Swagtastic game. Ryu is a badass.
Not a bad game. Does look cool.
it didn’t or it hasn’t aged well
This looks so much like Final Fight (even the name is similar) how did SNK NOT catch a lawsuit from Capcom ?
This game is so good

Shop Owners at the street "OH MY GOD...."
Big like drop from Old Nerd 👍😉
The first game I ever played on the NeoGeo and as such, I still have a soft spot for the title, even though it's just absolutely mediocre.
this guy definitely inspired by Guy from Final Fight
great gameplay, congratulations
This needs a sequel.
Dotemu could handle it.
I'd rather they make SOR5 or a new Golden Axe.
13:52 That's blatantly based on a real song, used in advertising all the time. Anyone know what it's called? If they released this game on a virtual download they would probably have to remove it.
Não conhecia esse jogo mas axei top toooopp
Man I miss this era
Why is Casterora the last boss? Is there no one like Mr. X from "Bare knuckle Series"?

Property Damage: The Game

Gracias princesa
Zulu swashbuckler.
Damn I would have loved to come across this game back in the day🗣‼️
Seems like the developers used Duffy a little too much
I'm wondering if he's supposed to be Dusty Rhodes.
The good news is that Neo Geo games were exact arcade ports. Unfortunately, that's also the bad news.
Underrated game
Show eu enho este game.
A final fight low budget
Fatal Fury meets beat and up
I like the levels!
One answer to final fight AND streets of rage...

this game remotely Streets of rage , final fight and double dragon
Compared to final fighter or Streets of Rage I thought this game would look a lot better but it don't. This game look like and early 16 bit beatem up Neo geo was capable of putting out amazing arcade. Pass on this one
100% agree. Could have been much better.
Ryu saeba = guy
Duke edwards = cody travers
Billy king = mike haggar
Also:
Ryu Saeba = Phillip Rhee
Duke Edwards = William Zabka
Billy King = Dolph Lundgren
Let's rip off Final Fight, but then not do it as well.
Okay, sounds good. Go for it!
Eu queria baixar "pulstar" neo geo
I have this on PS4. Once the enemy surround you, you can't react back. In my opinion, Final Fight arcade is much better.

As much as i love Neo Geo, this games character models looks terrible compared to Final Fight imo…
