- The Fantastic Four are quite well-known for their own adventures galore! That is probably why it did not come as a surprise at all when Franklin Richards - the son of Susan Storm and Reed Richards - was born into that world surrounded by the OG superheroes, and became quite powerful himself. At one point, he has even considered a mutant with his ability of energy and/or matter manipulation to the molecular extent, and his psionic skills. It was indeed impressive, however, it made for an increasingly complex storyline; the history of the character thus becoming long-winded. The bits of he himself exploring a labyrinth that isn’t as easy to navigate because of the number of loops and complex aspects to it, but it has given the reader a hint of excitement at every panel, every page of a comic, that Richards has been a part of.
Most people around the world today are unaware of what a gift Franklin Richards is to the world of comics, even as several films over the years have been graced by the Fantastic Four. There is a hint that they may be coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon, and while we wait for something, to lead up to the revelation of Franklin Richards therein, we shall attempt to shed some light on the amazing traits and powers that Franklin Richards had.

Imagine Franklin Richards vs. Matt Malloy (Reality Warp/Manipulation Mutant from X-Men Comic) or Marvel's "What If" Ultron-Vision, interesting Fight/Battle! Would a live action version of Franklin Richard be able to able to stop MCU Thanos with all 6 stones in the Infinity Gauntlet in ENDGAME?

The interesting thing about Franklin is he -- more or less -- gives Marvel what DC can never really have: a basic time frame from the birth of the modern heroic age to the present. We may not have exact dates, but we can presume that the Fantastic Four was formed at least two years prior to Franklin's birth. Sue and Reed were married probably one year after the creation of the FF, and Franklin would have to have been born between 9 and 12 months after that.
So, depending on how old Franklin is presented, add two years, and that's the birth of Marvel's heroic age. It gets complicated thanks to too many time travel stories, but, for the most part, it works.
DC doesn't really have this because there is no event we can use as a base. Now, for a while, they were trying an ironic placement of Superman's arrival from Krypton in the year 1988 (50 years from his 1938 debut), which allowed Superman to make his formal debut around the year 2011-2012 (making him 23/24 years old since Superman tends to be about 5-6 years younger than Batman and Batman generally nudges around age 30). Thus, the birth of the DC heroic age would be 2011-ish with Superman's debut, and DC's modern-day heroes staggering in over the course of the next several years. That didn't last very long.
Of course, not helping matters is DC's official "birthdate" of Superman being February 29. 😜
And let's not forget Franklin's sister, Valeria

I never did. We already HAD an origin for Franklin. His parents were bombarded with Cosmic Rays. Franklin is born with Cosmic powers. Easy Peasy. Being a mutant only worked when they tried for the ultra vague 'anyone who is born with powers is a mutant' explaination.... but they've delved too deep into X-genes, and Mutant culture, and stuff that Franklin really has no part of. Mutants should NEVER be as powerful as Franklin is. THere should be no common overlap between the kid who creates universes and the guy who had wings grow out of his back... Franklin is something... .'else'.

He can do anything except cure The Thing. That ain't right.
He could turn to think human but that wasn't the Cure that they need it. And this was back in the 1970s after he turned himself into an adult. The Cure that they needed was something that they didn't do it to the Future Foundation which is essentially give the thing the ability to control his transformation between human and rock form.
@@eliandervalderen5849 It's good that it all worked out for Ben in the end, but when we think about all the 'things' they could do, like going to other dimensions, time travel, and all of that, it must have really pissed Ben off every time Reed discovered something that wasn't a cure. Priorities I guess...
I would Love to see Franklin Richards in a future Marvel Film or new Fantastic Four animated series
interesting note: he was name dropped in the first X-Men movie. well...as a desktop icon/folder on Xaviers computer. and before the FF movie reboot. Jessica Alba was on record for saying she wanted to bring Franklin to the big screen finally! i hope this NEW FF reboot finally brings him in.

Additionally you should do something about some of the narration.in many videos names of main characters,places, artists get pronounced wrong or pronounced in multiple different ways in videos.
Maybe just take a bit more time for every video and release those a little less frequently.

Honestly I think that Franklin Richards not being a mutant anymore aside from it being something that the writer has done is probably due to his father's machine and machinations attempting to strip or limit Franklin powers. And by using the machines that he did and whatever psychological tactics he calls Franklin to slowly stripped himself of his powers all that power has to go somewhere so we'll see what happens

BUT you should definitely put some more time in the edit of your videos.
Often you talk about something correctly, just to contradict yourself later(for example with the x gene of Franklin:(9:32)it’s not because he lost his power that he can’t enter krakoa and neither did he infuse his dna with the x gene.
Professor x directly says „….you are not a mutant…you have never been one.

You used your cosmic power….till it APPEARED as if you possess the x gene“

Not quite. Pod person Xavier told him he wasn't actually a mutant, and then kicked him off their island after the X-Men kidnapped him in the first place.

I really do not like how Marvel has moved to the "Super ultra reality warping, universe ending with just a thought" characters. When you get that powerful, its like, who cares? Now you just have to take another character like Thor or whoever, and add some Deus Ex Machina that turns him into God-Hand-Rune-Machine Gun-Rocket Launcher of the Universe-Thor that gives him abilities that will match that new ultra enemy. They need to bring this back down to Earth where Apocalypse's appearance caused the world's super heroes to collectively shit their pants but team up to try and beat him because there was a possible chance that they could defeat the 4 Horsemen and keeping Apocalypse at bay. I mean, if a Cosmic level character comes to earth and all they need to do is think the earth's superheroes out of existence, what is the fun of that?

Franklin wasn’t affected in anyway by house of m. In fact it’s heavily implied that Franklin is the human body mcarnation of the one above all who is supposed to be the one true god of marvel.
Well it has been shown that Franklin Richards can beat the Scarlet Witch and even The Phoenix Force, plus he was never a mutant to begin with actually. People just thought that he had the mutant gene which made him think the same and that thought alone made him be a mutant.

Franklin Richards is a mutant end of conversation. He was born with those Powers which means that he's a meeting that is Marvel's explanation for how people get their powers he's a mutant.

FR was the tool by which the MCU rebooted much as DC did with their awkward timeline resets. Dr. Manhattan, Superboy Prime (ack), Flash, etc.
As time goes on heros must age or their histories become confusing.... or not. Hence the reboot. FR was that. I though it made him and interesting "quasi hero" that was too powerful to be used but in some sense explains odd things like, why hasn't a cosmic being just wiped earth given the number of nuissances that it spawns.
So FR had to be used Very judiciously.
The new writers are generally clueless hacks, so I don't think they can walk the tight rope needed for this charactor.
