I just completed Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrith, it's by the same devs and I imagine you'd really enjoy that if you liked Luna Nights.
@@Neo-Abobo It was enjoyable, it's old so it was a little tame and tropey but it really added a lot to my playthrough, I think. I'm playing Yakuza 5 on game pass atm you got any game pass recommendations?
It's fascinating that you can get this type of game from a series that's mainly a bullet hell games. Touhou also has another fanmade Metroidvania games, it's called Double Focus.
Great review. I feel it captures that Symphony of the Night vibe so wonderfully. I do think the graze mechanic offers a lot to the game, makes boss fights a ton of fun. I thought the fights were all very cinematic.
The graze mechanics is inspired from the official Touhou game itself. In the official games you do have to graze as much as you can to get life/bomb piece and for scoring.
Touhou games have since branched out into almost every genre outside of bullet hell. We have fighting games, racing games, a few platforms, and now apparently Metroidvanias. Kinda surprised we don't have an insane RPG entry yet.
Watched a lets play of this about a year ago or so, when its on sale for the right price ill pick it up. Just grabbed Time Spinners for 10 dollars and that is pretty good. The messenger is also a great option.
Thanx for the review. The greatest difference between Xbox One version and PC version is the support of controller vibration function on the console, but the feature is not addressed on the Microsoft xbox store web site. I don't know why the devs of Lady bug choose not to include this important function for PC version. What i can say is the controller vibration function makes such a big difference while playing. However, the Xbox One version lacks the recent update for Cirno boss fight.
Ill be buying this game tomorrow or Thursday. I always support these types of games on Xbox because it could have easily been ps4/switch only. I have game pass and I know I could play it right now in it, but ill just straight up buy it.
Hi! Great job as always. Unrelated to this video I think it'd be nice if you had a playlist of your reviews of games that you've given a 9 and up. Keep it up!
Im gonna hate pretty here but how hell did xbox get this and not ps4? And hell before even the switch which gives these games a whole new life just strange to me
If Koumajou Densetsu II didn't exist then this game would have been one of my most favorite Touhou fangames ever.
So I’m getting some Dio vibes with the time stop knife throwing thing.
Her character was basically a huge reference to part 3 Dio.
One of her attacks in Touhou 6 was even called:
Illusion World 「The World」
I downloaded this on whim one night on gamepass and was super impressed. I think this one is going to fly under alot of people's radar.

@@fesimco4339 Thanks for the heads up, already played the Deedlit game 👍. Pre-ordered the physical ps5 version too.
@@Neo-Abobo Nice! When I saw it I actually went and finally watched the animè
@@fesimco4339 Thats awesome. How did you like it? I really need to rewatch the anime again, its been years.

That’s really cool of you
Thanks. I'm all for more Japanese support on Xbox.
It seems like an entertaining metroidvania. I would probably buy it soon. I like Sakuya the most from the Touhou universe.
This games looks pretty cool! Definitely would love to give it a try should/when it comes to switch
Haha we’ve been waiting for a while for the switch version. It is free with Xbox game pass
Noisy Pixel makes me wish I had an Xbox lol

Still my favorite Metroidvania of all time. Love Sakuya!
You convinced me to buy it. thanks
2:14 Is that a jojo reference
Her whole character is DIO reference
Chibi Sotn, it looks alright, could of used some voice acting though.
this game is amazing!!!
Napoleon, don't be jealous 'cause I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to become a cage fighter.

hey so its kind of hard to hear what you are saying
Dude, i barely can notice you are talking. RAISE YOUR VOICE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Castlevania is nowhere near smooth as you remember. They are stiff and inflexible
I am not buying this for my xbox. Shit thing runs all games at below 720p or 900p (rarely ) with tons of fame rate drops. Am buying it on steam.
