It took for a DOCTOR to survive cancer to learn that eating whole foods and cooking at home is a way to stay healthy. I despair of this woman, and our medical establishment
No one has mentioned the plastic that surrounds out food and the chemicals that accumulate in food during there production, even non-ultra processed foods
Gee, I was in the supermarket the other day and wanted some kippers. They don't have a fish counter now and the kippers are microwave in plastic bag ones.
Microplastics are actually probably one of the major causes of these early onset cancers. All new data about them leads to "they cause chronic inflammation and thus probably cancer".
A cake made at home it's also a processed food. The problem is which ingredients goes on over the counter processed foods. They're made to be cheap, last long and being addictive, so it won't have the best ingredients for sure
Very interesting video, seems like encouraging progress is being made in this field. We definitely need to educate the general public on the necessity of a healthy diet. Love the reporter’s shirt too!
Whole food carbs are healthy. Broccoli and carrots are carbs. Some oils are good sources of far but shouldn't be over consumed like olive oil, avocado oil, and rapeseed oil.
literally 0 evidence 'seed oils' cause cancer, also using Sugar and Carbs interchangeably is silly as they aren't the same, i know its the popular narrative right now but its backed by any research ....
There are essential fats and essential proteins that we need to get from food. But there are No essential carbohydrates! All carbohydrates are entertainment, we don't need them at all!
Unfortunately, the infinite profit-chasers make so much money off of those things and those people pay off politicians so that they're allowed to poison us.
Not smoking! So many people are smoking around me, neighbours where I live; cannot leave the windows open because the fume is always coming into my fla😡!, in bars, restaurants, cannot sit outside, folks are smoking when outside programs in festivals, etc; horrible, I’m a passive smoker which is dangerous too, it irritates my throat making me cough! Not to mention in films, so many characters smoke (except in period ones. ) it seems cigarette producers or tobacco cartells sponsor these movies.
My mom's kimchi has made me for fifty years. cabbage kimchi, laddish kimchi, spicy kimchi, not spicy white kimchi...There are hundreds of kimchi in south korea. Every family has different ingredients. I think it is kind of like jazz that all musicians play it differently.
" A large-scale study of the prevalence of cancer showed that over 30 years, the number of cancer cases in those under the age of 50 has increased by almost 80 percent. And so in all countries, not just where the early detection system is established. " ( Ria Ru 2023)
visiting UK superstores, its pretty scary to see how much fresh food/or simple food section has been been replaced by ready made foods. pretty scary. slowy we are there as well on the Continent, but at least we have access to food while UK import 40% of it.
The darker the bread the more fiber it contains. I like bread made purely from kernels of oats with different seeds and nuts. Most cereals have too much sugar, self made oats porridge/overnight oats is a great alternative.
What one of the presenters was leading to, but wasn't presented is the one of the SCFAs (Short Chain Fatty Acids) is butyrate, made in the colon by beneficial bacteria. That one in particular is protective against colon cancer. So eat your whole or steel cut oats, hulled barley, cracked wheat folks, the bran (containing arabinoxylans) feeds the gut and produces those SCFAs (butyrate, acetate, propionate). Start your day with a portion of steel cut oats (at least 50% of it). I do up a big batch and put the rest in a quart jar in the fridge and have a quick breakfast on hand with a splash of milk to go with coffee or tea for a few days. Easy-peasy and cheap.
They tried to do that in my country for cigarettes but people complained that it was ripping them from their freedom. Freedom of what? Smoking your life away?
I wonder if behind the scenes there is a real big effort made from governments to find a cure to cancer. I remember when some government said " we put rule for shops to stop selling cigarettes " but days later i still saw someone i knew getting cigarettes from local places.
I'm wondering what role microwaves are playing. All the cellphones. EVERYTHING is wireless nowadays. Roundup is in virtually everything we eat. We are just swimming in plastic.

Choosing the right food shouldn’t be a test of character. Higher taxes on processed foods and lower ones on unprocessed foods could lead the consumer.
There are healthy ultra processed foods and unhealthy ones. Fortified soy milk is ultra processed and healthy.

There are plenty of doctors that are obese. It'd be kinda hard for them to have a conversation about obesity with a patient 🤨.
They barely take any nutrition classes

I'm so glad that here in Germany, I have second-hand smoke everywhere (own apartment due to neighbors, work due to colleagues,...)🥳
Germany really does seem to have a fixation on producing particulate matter for its citizens to inhale. Tobacco, coal, diesel cars...
