- A small little naked city bike from Sym delivering scooter like maneuverability in the city similar to a scooter but with the ability to teach young riders the ins and outs of riding a motorcycle. The 125 cc air cooled engine of the nh-x doesn't have a lot of power but definitely makes up for it with it eagerness to rev to 11.000 rpm. A great little bike that should be on every new rider's radar. In this review we go through everything there is to say about this motorcycle

I started riding on this bike and it’s really good for learning and really fun pushing to the limit the bike reaching 120km/h

I've had this bike for many months, it's really great to start with, I love it. It gives a lot of safety when driving it, in my opinion the suspensions are very well looked after and guarantee an excellent response to the roughness of the asphalt, as well as being very supported when cornering, the brakes are very good, especially at the front, at the rear the ABS is quite invasive but in dry conditions it causes no problems. I was very surprised by the riding position of the motorbike, which I consider to be the best in the category, perfectly positioned footrests combined with a very large and soft saddle, neither too high nor too low, which is completed with a slightly inclined handlebar and very low which also gives it aggressiveness in sports driving. The engine consumes little and is efficient, it has no overheating problems even in summer, the power is not much but it still holds up well compared to its rivals, it has no problems in urban driving even with a passenger, and it is also excellent for extra-urban trips. Obviously all this considering that it is a 125 4-stroke created for 16-year-old novices. Having said that, I recommend it to everyone because it combines excellent quality and reliability at an honest price, and then, especially in the blue color, it is beautiful

Hello Alex! I would really want to buy this bike next year, but I have some questions:
1. Can a crashbar be mounted on it?
2. Can I mount a topcase? Is there any accessory that would allow me to do that?
3. Will it be available in more colors?
1. crashbars only something custom made
2. there are aftermarket racks for topcases
3. depends on your market, here we have grey and red.
Yesterday i went to the dealership to try to sit on it and to get the feel. Found the bike tall because i tip toed as i am a short rider. It also way too heavy.
That's why i keep saying to go sit on them. Me coming from my 1100GS for me it's very light, depends on your experience.

At 175cm tall it was comfortable for me.

Depends on the country, here we have 2 year warranty.

Are the brakes actually 288mm or 260mm? I've heard people saying it 260 that's why I'm asking
The euro5 (the one with ABS) has a 288mm front disk, the euro4 (the one without ABS) has a 260mm front brake disk. The one I tested was the Euro5 model. It's the only one you can currently buy new in the EU.

is there any overheating issues with this bike?
It's a passively air cooled engine, if you sit in traffic in 45 degrees heat it might overheat, but if it's moving there shouldn't be an issue.
@@RideWithAlex I appreciate your honest feedback Alex and Hope you tell me what's the best in your opinion , NHT 200cc or zontes 155u ? Since they both use water cooling, I'm really confused between these two.

I thought this bike comes out in automatic aswell? Is that true?
The only automatic bikes that exist are the honda DCT models. No other manufacturers make automatic motorcycles. If you want an automatic you get a scooter.
Is the bike good quality
The ones I know of have been running fine, and people are happy with them.

It uses about 2.5 - 3l/100km. that would be like 35-40km/l or something like that
@Dominic Calitz the nh-x has always been fuel injected, there's no carburated model at least not in Europe
Can anyone recommend me the engine oil to use, my bike is almost 3 years old now. Should i use synthetic oil ? Please explain
What have you been using until now?
The store puts some mineral oil from the big can and the hose
However i dont really trust that oil, for no specific reason. I would just like to know what I'm putting in my bike
@@sumitmadan2518 Just put regular motorcycle semi-synthetic or full-synthetic 10w40 oil. Motul 5100 10w40 will work just fine
@@RideWithAlex i had another question, once in a while, all of a sudden the engine turn off while riding. I went to the Sym guys many times, no help. I dont know whats wrong. I thought maybe you could help me over personal message maybe ?
Will Sym inport Sym NHT 300 cc in Romania?
It will be at least available for order, not sure if there will be any on stock, but it can be ordered. Apart from the engine everything is the same as the 125 and 200 in terms of ergonomics and design.
Is it better than a sym wolf T1 125
We don't have the SYM wolf here so I can't say, never seen a wolf in person.

The 125cc is air cooled
450 KM long in fuel tank.It is good bike.It would be better if it had 2 ps more.I think.
There's only so much you can do with an air-cooled 125
@@RideWithAlex Thats cool.Liquid cooled are better.They do not get tired.I have air cooled brand new 150cc scooter.It goes very well in city and rural areas.Max 7.5L tank lasts about 240 km.

I have videos both on the jet and on the st200 where I state all the pluses and minuses of each :)

what brand are the stock tyres?are they any good?
They are CST tyres, decent budget tyres. But can't compare then to proper premium rubber like Michelin
