Thank you for doing this video. I'm in the market for one of these NHTs and I live in Greece and there's not many English speaking reviews on this bike (I'm English btw lol) cheers mate 👍
Been a car driver for 40 yrs , have decided to dip into the world of bikes , love this , comfortable , feels sturdy and solid but I do like the sporty look of the Benelli BN 125 ,. Literally gonna be the toss of a coin but have a feelin the NHT is the one I’m gonna go for . I’m 5ft 10 and the NHT definitely feels better when sittin on it . Great review and thank you
I'm considering a used on for my fordt bike but its only issue is misting on one of the forks...are rebuild kits available for them? Cant see the seals available anywhere and no sign of any other internal parts for the forks... 🤔
I’m not sure. It’s not something I’ve really looked into. Personally though, now I’ve seen the Benelli BKX 125 I would be looking at one of those first. 😉
I had one of those in South Africa where I live, lovely bike, you feel like you are sitting IN the bike rather than ON the bike. Unfortunately its a little slow but the fuel economy is fantastic. I did a 3000km road trip with it through some really rough (off road) areas in SA without any problems.
@@siegfriedwurth5928 not quite, i bought it as a 2nd bike for a friend who came to visit from Canada, as i rode a Suzuki GS150R. did many thousands of ks on it, 20 000 in the last 10 months alone, i have now sold that Suzuki and bought myself another Sym, but this time an NHT 200.
Im a similar height to you. Is it wise to buy this as my first bike? Would it be difficult for tight city riding? Also for a beginner is it simple to shift gears?
I think this would be a good choice for a first bike. it’s adventure bike style makes it really comfortable to ride. It goes through the gears nicely. Being a 125 it’s very beginner friendly. Let me know what you end up with 👍
Sadly theses 125s with the 20th century air-cooled engines just get lost in a sea of mediocrity. Less than 3k would buy you something much more modern with liquid cooled 4 valves and 14.7 hp
Be careful I bought a 2018 SYM Wolf 125 T1 in South Africa brand new & the bike has a massive quality design issues. On 17000 KMS many technical issues & spend a large amount of money, also not a very reliable motorcycle. One pay half the price of Japanese bikes you also get half the quality for sure!

Your welcome. This would be a good option for the streets over there 👍
@GillyBikes cheers mate. Yeah absolutely, the pot holes here are nearly as bad as the M1 🤣 cheers for a great review bud. Subscribed 😊👌
@rickyfoofighter4926 brilliant. Thanks mate 👍
I've this bike, my first bike, it's quite big and heavy for a 125, I love the design of it and it's pretty fuel efficient.
They do look much bigger than a 125. A very good choice for a first bike.

Thanks. I would definitely go for the bike that fits you better. You will ride more if you are comfortable.
@@GillyBikestook the plunge , NHT delivered today , wish me luck 💪
@edmccann7888 good luck. Have fun and ride safe. 👍

Can you do green laning on one of these then?
I don’t see why not. You would probably have to change for some better tyres to get the most out of it though.

They are a strange combo of a big bike with a small engine. But they do come with Great road presence and comfort
You had one like this, I wonder why you had one? Maybe the quality of the SYM cut one big hole in wallet?

Hi from Greece! Sorry for my English! I am 1.70cm! Do you think my feet are putting good to the ground?
Very similar to me so you should be fine.
@@GillyBikes Thanks man!
Their scooters are as good as Honda's more modest offerings. Nice.
I really like their scooters. Great value and decent engines. These are surprisingly good as well.

for plodding to work an air cooled motor is simpler to maintain, no coolant or waterpump or radiator to worry about.@@gerryattrickbiker
@gerryattrickbiker it’s just another bike to choose from I suppose

?????
These sym bikes are very poor quality, I had two & the quality are a big issue.
I only had this one for a few hours. What sort of issues did you have with yours?
