He left his business back home, came to NZ & worked as a street cleaner, a city job, did a great job & became friends w the city mayor & officials and now owns his own home & rentals, successful kids & family! Malayalees can succeed if they recognize dignity in any work!

Even long distance masters degree with good experience counts. Experience from reputed companies with western base also counts. Also you need to specialise in some particular field of your interest either related to Mechanical or even IT. If you already have those. Start planning and applying. Else if you are young make it a long term plan. Studying in UK universities is a big plus in getting jobs here. Getting visa is a point based system. Research well and remember it is not easy. It is very hard and very costly to immigrate to these countries. You need high IELTS score and professional education background. The skill set required for gulf countries and these countries are completely different . Malayalees have been immigrating to these countries for a long time and these are not the next gulf countries.
