Love your wise ass.dry sense of humor 😂. Great videos. At 72 years of age I’m definitely considering this step through model. This would probably be my 4th and last ebike,I hope 😎. Keep em coming
My thanks for your idiosyncratic sense of humor. (Wait while I look that word up......Yes!) I appreciate what you are doing by not only providing practical and real-world user-friendly information as an eBike owner - but serving as a model of what my grandpa use call (Fix it your own damn self and stop whining) hands-on and solution-oriented ownership. I look forward to future videos from you. I'm waiting on my WIRED FREEDOM to arrive and anticipating the adventure ahead.
Glad that P5 setting change also corrected your speedometer issue. I’m impressed you have so many miles on it already. I’ve just crossed over 300 miles and had mine since mid August… Guess I need to get out riding more.
You sir are thorough and frieken funny with the dog paws assistant joke. Man I had all the same issues but Steve was very helpful . On my way to lots of miles on this cool freedom. You one witty mofo, enjoyed this info you gave, you did a damn fine job Shoot The Chit, liked and subscribed to this perfect channel.
I wonder if the break pads would have quieted down after they were bedded. Thanks for the vid, I subscribed and enjoy your content. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot , I appreciate that. I'm pretty sure the old pads were bedded in already. Not sure what was causing the squealing but it was super annoying.
Interesting, I wonder if your pads aren't aligned with the rotor or something like that. I know my front rotor was bent during shipping and I had to spend some time straightening it out @@rabbithomesteading3797
Thanks for reply Ill look into it! I did the brake sqeeze loose and re tighten and seemed better but still something. But rear is quite. Anyways thanks man! But mabe start fresh and get pad you talk about I mean it seems cheap and better.@@shootthechit
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, maybe something go on them during installation or shipping. Swapping the pads fixed the issue and like you said it was easy enough. @@timmontano773
There's always haters man! Someone hated all over my last video too :) Love the humor and the brake pad tutorial. I'm gonna try your bird hunting trick. Keep these coming
Nice video, entertaining and informative. I am awaiting my November delivery of the freedom. Made my decision after watching your channel and citizen cycles. Ignore the negativity, that may come your way.
I am assuming that both the front and rear pads are the same? Also do you recommend a seat post suspension for the rear. This thing is beating my ass up.
You get a lot of bike for the money I definitely have my eye on the wired freedom I also use tannus armour. In your videos I saw mt diablo in the back ground then I saw auto center drive. I was that looks like Antioch. I'm from Martinez I have to check out those trails
You are correct, I'm in Antioch. There are some decent bike trails here that go to Oakley and Brentwood, makes for some decent rides. Concord has the Contra Costa Canal trail and the Iron Horse which are both fun rides, have you been on those yet?
Want to stop that squeaking use brake caliper grease on the back of those pads like you do on your cars and trucks and also clean up all that dust and your problem will be solved :)
Interesting, I will give that a try next time. I did notice the back of the stock pads had a ring where it looked like they used grease of some sort. Either way, the new pads have been silent so far and they stop just as good as the other pads. The stock pads were generating a ton of dust , will be interesting to see how they compare to the newer pads
All issues resolved? Nah dude. Don't take the bike over 20 miles an hour because according to the warranty information if you do it voids the warranty. Read it. Then, if you need to send the bike back it's a $500 restocking fee and you pay the $200 shipping. The bike is advertised at a certain purchase price but the shipping is not included in that price and so that's $200. I called this company to ask some questions and the guy who answers customer service is out of breath and panting I assume that he's trying to build bikes and they can't make them fast enough. There was a design flaw on one of their bikes where the travel of the shock in the rear was causing the rear tire to rub up against a component. The guy who answered the phone had an attitude and the person in the chat who is in chat support couldn't care less about moving product or company profit or convincing someone to buy the product. Then there is the owner that I sent an email who told me they would restructure the company around my suggestions and I told him don't bother because With Attitudes like this they won't be in business for long. And they won't. This is a fly-by-night company and you are going to experience other problems with your bike and I'm sure of it. I've decided to go with the philodo because it has a positive 5,000-mile review on RUclips. I hope that this bike lasts and I hope you don't have to get solutions from this company and if you did it's a fluke because I can tell when a company is destined for failure and is substandard and this company is that in spades. My recommendation to anyone who's watching this video and considering these bikes from this company avoid it like the plague.
Too bad TailHappy has reviewed both and far prefers the Wired. China based customer service on a weak 48v system. If you bought one instead of the Wired, you’re a fool. Bikes great, very well built with good components and excellent customer service. Good luck with that DIY looking abomination!
You don't know what you are talking about... And saying that going over 20mph voids the warranty is a flat out lie. Also, I've interacted with the owners and they are great.

also C-8 on 2024 only has now a motor temperature sensor put on 1 to turn on in screen.
Good tip on the C8 setting. I just changed it to 1 on my new Freedom and it did in fact display the motor temperature.

Awesome jokes, dude..! Loved those shots at the guy who called you out..! Hilarious. Good little video, man.!
Glad that P5 setting change also corrected your speedometer issue. I’m impressed you have so many miles on it already. I’ve just crossed over 300 miles and had mine since mid August… Guess I need to get out riding more.
I've been riding it to the gym 4 times a week so thats been a big source of the miles.
A perfect blend of information and comedy.. i like it man

Just make sure you bed in your breaks after replacing the pads this is very important!! Or you will have squeaky breaks agian.
For New 2024 wired bikes P5 setting should be 6 for Samsung battery and 16 for LG battery.
Great vids! I really think I'm leaning towards the Wired Freedom over the Grizzly now.
I wonder if the break pads would have quieted down after they were bedded. Thanks for the vid, I subscribed and enjoy your content. Keep up the good work.

That battery looks like Juiced battery. Does it fit Juiced e bike?
No idea, but a lot of these battery packs look similar
My freedom is backward. Front make a weird noise but back is fine. Looks easy TY!
Noise mine makes is way less then yours, clicking or something. Anyways thank for edit posting this video!

GREAT VIDEO! Love the end :)
Thanks! I watched your Wired review, you still riding it around?
@shootthechit 40 miles today! Testing the reliability and range of a 3000 watt shunt mod and dual battery setup. Filmed most of it

I believe they are the same pads. I have never used a suspension seat post. Have you setup your rear suspension?

So you have the 2023 edition?
It's a 2023 but I think it has some of the 2024 features like the Samsung battery pack.
Good info, not to mention the hilarious commentary 😂
If you need a partner in crime , I’m available , Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap .
Nice. Now I want tie get one. Makes me want get off my lazy ass and ride
You totally should, they are a lot of fun and a great way to get exercise. I bet Reno has some decent bike trails.
@@shootthechit probably does but I don’t kno much about Reno bike trails. I do kno Tahoe has a nice one.
