Regarding the last question… I can’t speak for VIC but in NSW when in a state forest you only have permission to hunt game, it’s a BIG no no to setup a target and fire rounds at it… that’s coming from a good friend who works for DPI in that area.
I have a NSW game license along with VIC, definitely strick up there with everything ie: booked hunts, they know your vehicle rego number, reporting harvest, R license, no adjustable stocks😮🙄. Can't shoot paper? No definitely not.
With regards to sighting in at a Vic State forest, I put this question to the GMA and they duck shoved it to the Dept of many name changes, this is the response I got....."With regard to sighting in rifles, if it is only a few shots to sight the firearm prior to hunting then that is fine (provided you use a proper target and not trees - as trees are forest produce and you can be prosecuted for shooting/damaging trees)." Fucking great answer, how the fuck would you set up a target in a forest and not hit a tree. So I'd be wary because it will depend on the opinion of the ones that pull you up whether you can or can't.
Since I put the question up I have had the the DFO do a storage inspection on my safe, while they were at my place I asked the question and the reply was - " If we get called out because of a report of repeated gunfire in a state forest then it would be shut down because you can't use state forest as a shooting range, although you can confirm zero or sight in a new scope if done discreetly with a safe back stop (embankment or hillside). Go more remote with the location so you don't arouse suspicion from local residents in earshot and put plenty of distance between the shooting and roads" Avoiding trees is possible if you look around for a natural embankment or similar. Basically just being responsible and do your business quickly then move on and you will not have a problem. Being licensed hunters allows us to discharge firearms in state forest at living or once living things (paper).
Hey mate. I started with a Canon 7D and a Rode shotgun mic. I now have a Canon M50 and use Rode Wireless Go II lav mics. I'd prioritise mics over a camera, if it sounds good, it looks good. If it sounds shit, it looks shit, even if the footage is good.
I actually bought the 44Mag chambered version of the Citadel LevTec and its the best and most fun firearm I ever got. That mofo packs a tremendous punch.

Pretty much the response I got. Seems very vague. I would like a legislative black and white answer from them.
Ridiculous typical commie bureaucratic nonsense.
Pretty much standard Government behavior/ response
Cheers from the USA.

@@dougalmcalpine6804 Seems like a reasonable answer.
@@fhckoutdoors So there is no actually legislation that says no but if we push for complete clarity then there will be I bet.
General fitness/endurance is also a really underated thing that improves offhand shooting. Go for a run, exercise and stretch!
And upper body strength if you have custard arms.
Good stuff mate 👍
Fkn hell I thought I was listening to Shane Gillis aussie version lol
Solid vid mate! Much love from NQ.
...my gawwwd paying 30cent per primer geez i remember when they were 8 to 10cents
I’m sure 20 cent extra for each primer isn’t going to change your life. So stop acting like a brokie and man up.
hey bro love the content. when you first started off recording videos what camera/mic software did you use ?
