Aksa S4 UPDATE. So apparently this was originally imported by ASA in a small batch for testing. There were some issues that they wanted the manufacturer to fix before going full scale, which never eventuated. Therefore, this is currently not commercially available. Sorry for teasing you all with that one. It might become available in the future.
It’s literally the m4 clone with a lever release position that everyone wants but nobody’s bringing it to market🥹. Looking at aksas website they’ve got an m2 lever release clone as well
stumbled across your channel a few months ago. Love the content. Keep it up. You also mention you're in the brisbane area and do gun smithing. I wouldn't mind some further info on this for some minor repairs.
Great overview mate. I preordered a BM Gen 2 standard a couple of weeks ago. Seems like you found it to be a decent piece of kit. Can’t wait to get my mits on it.
I have the bushpig XT, i swapped the buttstock using an adapter and put the magpul SGA stock on it, works a charm, you can have a solid cheek riser on it too.
@@fhckoutdoors I had a look. So yeah it’s essentially 2 short stroke pistons. The proprietary part must be how the gas is siphoned and regulated into the gas chamber to auto regulate for all cartridge types. Short strokes have the piston rod detached from the bolt carrier while the long strokes are directly attached to bolt carrier.
Love your stuff mate. Watched a few of your videos just now. Have you had the chance to shoot 28g 7.5's target loads through your PB12 gen2 yet? I'm planning on getting a 28inch and need it to be reliable for target loads. What are your thoughts?
I have the T2000 and the Bushpig, Both cycle everything and are perfect for destroying mobs of Pigs. The under stock shell clips actually work quite well and do come in handy for a quick reload. The Cheek riser on the stock is shit and the break action is a good thing when it comes to fast and safe unloading which is always a positive. My T2000 is a good bit of kit, awesome for fast follow up shots and could happily do with a 7 rd mag as it's easy to run empty quickly. Cheers for another good review Ed.

@@fhckoutdoors thanks mate, I have one and was curious on your thoughts on them, it’s seems ok, I use my Adler straight pull more often when out hunting ….for no good reason 🤷♂️😂 Love your content!
I've used all of them hunting except the dacasauros. The best for hunting I would say is the Templeton T2000. However none of them will beat my Chiappa triple crown 20G for 3 shot speed, reliability or maintenance.
I've got one of the super magnum verney carrons and haven't ever had any issues running 2 3/4 shells through mine (after I was told about the hidden interchangeable gas piston in the fore-end that is) might've just lucked out with mine?
Awesome video, I was looking forward to your comparisons. I've never even heard of Aksa Arms bringing in a Benelli M4 clone with a better lever location, which gets me curious. Also good to see the Buckmaster Gen 2 button has gotten smoother, I thought the Gen 1 was a bit stiff when I checked it out a long time ago. Cheers mate.

i wish you had done some info on loading them all and how the loading gates work looking for a gun for ipsc shot gun and loading fast seams to be where things are won and lost here in aus other then guns braking any advice on how easy/ fast the average person can load these different guns?
@@justynatkins6390 buckmaster, t2000, veloce, Aksa S4 and Winmark all load the same. The bushpig can be either loaded the same as above, but there is less room due to the hinge knuckle. The Sulun guns have a lever on the trigger guard that has to be depressed to allow the loading gate to rise, which makes it the slowest. The fastest by far is the new Buckmaster detachable magazine version, which is arriving in the country very soon.
Wow, never knew semi auto shotguns weren't allowed over there? Here in the UK we can have them, but fixed internal mags only and restricted to two in the tube and one in the chamber (on a shotgun certificate, firearms certificate you can have more and detachable mag).
Hey mate, if you have one....what's your preference between the Templeton and gen 2 buck master for pushbutton release location ?? love the content mate!
Where is the action release located on each of them? (The button you press when it’s empty). The Templeton’s on the right side of the trigger guard near the loading port (where you can get to it). I know some guns have them at the back of the loading port (where they’re hard to press). Great video otherwise. Keep up the good work!
Also, just to get a bit further onto the spectrum than I already am, is there any difference in the loading port function between them? Eg: the Templeton’s loading port can be flipped up while the bolt is back. It’s handy cos it’ll hold the live round in place while the action is open. The Tacasaurus doesn’t allow this, so the loaded shell can potentially fall out if you leave the bolt open. I really like this feature about the T2000 cos I can have the gun sitting upright between my legs, action open and safe while screaming across the paddock in the bugger. I then close the bolt as I shoulder the gun and I know it’ll always feed. The Tacosaw I’d have to close and leave on safe. That make sense? It’s a very autistic question I know, but it does have a real world application! Cheers big ears.
My autism is having a hard time understanding you because of the terminology you are using. To summarise both of your comments: The "button you push when the gun is empty" is the bolt release, and as far as I am aware they are all in the same spot, its a fairly standard placement for it as it actuates the shell latch transfer bar on the inside. The loading port is the hole in the bottom of the receiver, hence the name 'port'. The part that moves is the shell lifter. When the bolt is rearwards the shell lifter is raised to place the shell in front of the bolt. When the bolt is released it picks up the shell to chamber it, and the lifter goes back down. To answer your question: all bar the tacsoras and Aksa will work as you have described. Hope that helps.
@@fhckoutdoors thanks dude. Agree with what you’re saying. And apologies, it’s the ‘shell drop lever’ that I’m referring to (that’s what Templeton call it). It releases a shell from the tube onto the lifter. I use it on straight-pull shotguns when the action is closed on empty to get another shell onto the lifter (hence my misleading comment “button you press when empty”). All good. Thanks for the reply 👍
