You should try dieseling your air rifle. Just get some Vicks vapor rub and load the rifle as you normally would, but then take a little Vicks and smear it into the cavity of the pellet skirt after it's seated in the barrel. You'll get about 40% more power and velocity because the menthol in the Vicks actually ignites under pressure just like diesel does. It will also be quite a bit louder so be prepared. I've only done this with my 177 and 22 caliber air rifles but I'd like to see how good it works with the larger caliber rifles.
Holy cow, or should I say Holy pig, that was an amazing shot. Man, a good airgun placed on the hands of a skilled marksman such as yourself is just amazing. Wow.

I've had that scope for 3 years without any problems.

That converts to right around 27 foot lbs of energy at the muzzle. Which is sufficient for hogs. More important is accuracy. Also, pellet type. One would want to use a lead pellet that has antimony added (for hardness). A soft pellet could very easily expand to soon on the skull and not properly penetrate. The Gamo Rocket pellets actually have a steel BB molded into the head of the lead pellet, offering great penetration. So, if those pellets group well in your .22 a good choice, I would not use the very light (9.9gr in .22cal) Gamo Raptor alloy pellets though. While gamo used those pellets in a marketing campaign to shoot hogs with, they lose velocity fast and are just to light IMO. They is a variety of harder heavier alloy pellets. Crosman makes a 15.9gr copper alloy in .22, which I have heard groups well and has excellent penetration. H&N also has some heavier alloys also. Im not sure what .22cal lead pellet you are referring to that is 21gr but that may be just fine also, so long as it isnt to soft of lead. Hydrostatic shock really is not important when using a springer/air piston on larger airgun game such as hogs. A accurately placed pellet as deep as possible in the brain will give you the most humane results.
You're a decent shot. Why sell yourself out for these crappy Gamo springers? I bet you could get a better sponsorship if you tried. Gamo makes decent PCP's now. But they aren't even really Gamo, they are BSA rifles "great rifles" that did like you and sold out to Gamo. Gamo of course put their own shitty triggers and suppressor on them which makes them lower quality of what they originally were. But when it comes to hunting, why not seek out sponsorship with someone like Hatsan? Their rifles are actually powerful and accurate enough with awesome triggers. That would make for more humane hunting. Sorry, maybe you can make the shot with a Gamo, but 98% of people can't shoot that crap well enough to hunt with humanely and you're advertising these things as hunting rifles. They are plastic pieces of crap. Gamo claims these crazy fps numbers on their box, and they don't get anywhere close to what's on the box. Even with light weight/lead free and inaccurate pellets. Hatsan tends to be me practical, Knowing that velocity and power mean nothing if you can't hit your target, so they do their testing with heavy weight lead pellets. "hunting pellets". They are built like tanks, and are the most accurate break barrels for the price. I respect you as a marksman Mr. Urban, but I'm disappointed in the fact you would sell out your craft for a company you know good and well isn't worth your sponsorship.

I live in houston tx and i bought a gamo pellet rifle n i cant find any imformation about if it is not against the law to go target shooting in the city limits of houston. I found it fun to target shoot but i want to go shoting in an open area to do longer range shooting because the back yard in wich i shoot is too short... i would apresiate the imfo, u r an expert n i think u r the right person to ask about..
I also live in houston. It is illegal to discharge any firearm, airgun, or bow within the city limits. It is also illegal to hunt any type of game or nongame in the city limits of houston. Was not 20 years ago, but the last cop that gave me a ticket for rabbit hunting in north houston assured me that it was in fact illegal.

There is an outdoor shooting rrange really close and i think I'll go over there to target shoot whenever i have time. I never had an air rifle before but when i bought the one I have i was preety surprise. It shoots verry close to the firing capacity of a .22 fire arm.. I'll in the future buy a pcp the benjamin marauder in .25 cal for target shooting and the best thing is that u do not need any type of license

what is an 'extremist christian'?? Can I call you an extremist atheist?
Question! I can hunt something like that hog with a 22 caliber 21 grain pellet, at 760 fps?
@@michaelwthalman i have a rifle, gas ram, that shots a 21 grains 22 cal pellet at 750 fps...and it is a hard pellet so it can go deep trough bone
Yeah Really man!
What happened to the .25 Gamo airguns Don’t sell them anymore?
Thinking about getting an air piston pellet gun to have for fun and just incase for an emergency... Thinking about going with a wood stock gamo either .22 or .25 air piston

Mr warent I have a question.
In most municipalities like Houston, they classify air rifles as "firearms" and it is illegal to fire them within city limits.
***** the Hunter Extreme has a better barrel design, in my opinion, and comes with a scope.
No good... shooting can be fun and I added it to one of my favorite out door activities.. i work and attent to college and I haven't had time to go shooting.. I live arroung I10 and hwy 6.
HOLA HOLA AMIGO GENIAL NO PARE DE VER ESTE VIDEO UNA Y OTRA VES SON PELLET:ROCKET DESTROLLER DE CUANTOS GREINS ERAN???
What the FPS and the energy produced ?
I like break barrels I have a Hatsan 30 and 25 but I never would have tried hunting pick with them. You shot placement was perfect.
A few yards you do not lift white lead?
Hey Mr Warren do you use the stock scope or do you use a aftermarket and if so what kind are you using or do you prefer to use with your gamos?
+raider4lifebizee I typically use the factory GAMO scopes.
How far? When I shoot em behind the ear does it hit their brain or severe spinal chord and neck damage?
What ammo are you using? Great shot and video.
Hello boss
How are you
the weapon that you are talking about in your youtube video post. I think it's very good. How much is a weapon if the value is in Rupiah.
