      It does seem that way, right? 🎼 I saw that you had a chance to play the game as well and that you really liked it-I'm looking forward to reading more of your thoughts tomorrow! ☺️ Thank you for checking out the video and for the comment, Tae!

    Another classical music themed game! The art is great, loving the quavers and crotchets on the dice. It’s gotten to the point where the bigger the board - the more excited I get about learning the game lol.
    On another note - Dave do you write music? Or do you ever play violin/viola for bands on their recordings? Just asking for a friend 🥸

      Yes, another classical music themed game! You can never have enough! 🎼 And "quavers" and "crotchets"... I love it! 🤣 We call them quarter and eighth notes here in the States of course, although I'm vaguely familiar with those terms (as well as "minims" and "semibreves")! The main board is certainly large in this game and once you start adding the individual player boards, it's quite a table hog! Hope you have a big enough table! 😉
      I have written music in the past and I played in various bands throughout high school/college and beyond and I've recorded on a few albums and recordings and such... but nothing I'd be prepared to share with a successful musician like yourself! 🙈

    "Stringed instruments' always reminds me of that scene in Four Lions where Barry drives into a wall.

    Great preview! This one is definitely right up my alley. Also, minor point but thank you for putting out four public goal tiles to keep the building symmetrical. I was telling my wife last night that I would set it up that way always and just flip over the one we're not using. So, it was good to see what the back of them look like.
    What did you think of the challenge of the solo mode? Was your game close in score?

    • @BoardGameDave
      @BoardGameDave  2 месяца назад

      Haha, that is a minor point but I’m so glad you appreciated that detail! That would have bothered me too-only using three of those roofs! 🤣 And the solo mode was good! It was my first time playing and I won 75-68 but if I remember right there are lots of difficulty variables you can play with so I could have made it much more challenging for myself! Thanks for the comment!

      @@laurencesingh3948 Agreed! I always appreciate when a solo opponent is challenging, competitive, and their difficulty can be tweaked! ☺

    I am definitely backing this but I can’t decide which tier. Deciding between Symphony and Magnus Opus. Are u backing it? Which tier if you don’t mind divulging.
    What are your thoughts on the realistic resources? Not sure if it is needed. The cubes look kinda classic as the main focus and the deluxification is really in the instrument side. That’s why if i go Symphony tier definitely need to get the instrument standees. The music in me just needs to be the real instruments show on the orchestral section.

      To be honest, I'd hardly looked into the Symphony and Magnus Opus levels but I'm not typically the kind of person to go über-deluxe or all-in for Kickstarter games, either! As nice as the engraved worker chips, realistic resources, and enamel inspiration tokens look (not to mention the illustrated wooden standees, dice tower, real baton, etc.), I think I'd be perfectly happy with the deluxe edition! Maybe the Symphony tier with the illustrated standees as an add-on would be your best bet? (That's a big difference between $209 and $279!) Thanks for the comment and for checking out the video! ☺️

      @@BoardGameDave to be honest, i did all calculation and the best one for me really is the Concerto with the add on for the standees. (And the sleeves might as well). So it would be $149 which is the most reasonable back for me.

    • @BoardGameDave
      @BoardGameDave  2 месяца назад +1

      There you go! Like I said, as nice as some of those Symphony level components look, the Concerto level pledge already gets you the deluxified game with the metal coins, dual-layered player boards, and even the promo cards so that seems like a great choice if you're watching your spending! Good call! ☺️
