I just got 3 hydras and the rigging is super easy with that gauge
But one quick question,
My new 5.7 hydra sport recommends combo of 400 bottom and 430 top. I only have 430 top and bottom, I don’t have 400 mast . Can I make it work? Thks Graham
Yes, you can use a straight 430 on the 5.7.
The straight 430 is stiffer than the 400/430, resulting in a slight decrease in the low-end power and a stiffer feel while sailing.
I suggest playing around with your downhaul, then move the downhaul gauge to line up with the bottom of your mast, once you have found your preferred setting.
