I agree that flexible fins hold better (stall softer). But one thing you didn't talk about is fin thickness. In my experience thicker forward foil fins can be ridden stiffer for the same control and especially in high current and onshore conditions, the extra upwind and planing power provided by the thickness and stiffness are a big win without compromising control! You can ride those fins more upright, no need for curve as you don't rely on the flex (tip twist) as much. Just like with the Ezzy sails, more profile ;)
    Great video, thanks!

He is talking about surfing, not going straight or upwind.

@Graham Ezzy Hey Graham, thanks a lot for sharing your advices, things become obvious when you're talking about them !
About flex fins, would you say they are better for surfing rather than for jumping, or you fell no difference ?
For now I'm keeping my G10's for float'n ride conditions, is that right ?
Thanks to that video I "discovered" at the bottom of my accessories bag a brand new set of front K4 Ezzy 2° 8cm I previously bought to try instead of the usual Rockets I love. Can't wait to get that feeling !
    Bless,

Hi Lucien, I agree about jumping. I think the flexy fins make a big difference in the surfing, but if you're only jumping, then G10 is fine.

@@GrahamEzzy Thanks, and by the way that kind of straight to the fact video with subtitles is great to watch. Even better because you are very relaxed in front of the camera. I'm very grateful for this !

Very informative video ! I would like to ask , a lighter guy like me 60kg (120 p I guess) on a quad board 80 lt for onshore conditions what sizes should I use front and rear? Thank you very much 🙏.
